Raising Kids...

Wheres this too? Near birmingham/manchester?

Southeast. A city called Slough, but it's a village near it, called Farnham Common. But I understand this happens everywhere, but however, the village was seriously a very good place 12 years ago. Now it's just full of yobs and stuff, they steal from the shops and generally give the locals a hard time. No one deserves this ...

In the south, we beat our youngin's, and if we don't feel like a beatin'em at home. WE TAKE'EM TO WAL-MART. NOTHING TO CALM'EM DOWN LIKE A SPANKIN' WITH AN AUDIENCE.

Lol Seriously though. I was raised on spanking. I never got hit in the face, sometimes the belt would slide too high or low, but thats no biggie. I turned out just fine, lol. I don't really have that many issues. o_o; besides a bit of weight. Don't think spanking caused that.

I think Balance is a good thing. Scold, and yet praise. Finding the happy medium is the goal I would think.

You play a DRG on FFXI... and you think that statement is a good one? pfft

:p jk^^

But anyways,

Vang I said we were 18 and 15, and WERE NOT HAVING A KID ANYTIME SOON, and we dont have anything sexual going on... y'know it's funny how you think about a couple nowadays and say oh wow you're 18 and she's 15... don't get caught. CAUGHT DOING WHAT? Holding hands with her? ohhhh damn that's bad

not trying to start anything and really asking a question (cause I can't remember for the life of me). Wasn't there someone in the past you were with that was pregnant but lost the child? O.o or was that someone else.. don't have to answer it if you don't wanna.

Anyways.. there's a lot of good advice here but none of it will really always work and go well. Every child is different and will respond differently. You can prepare yourself the best you can but you might not always act rationally and you might not always see htings going right. There's no real guide to parenting as far as I can tell and the only way you are gonna get through it is as you go along and adjust with your child. But atleast stand against your own beliefs :P

slow sucked for me once was with a girl 10 months then dumped me for another guy as in the end she thought i did not care and bla bla bla

Eh depends on the status of the relationship I guess. Taking it slow is better IMO. It keeps the relationship interesting. If you rush everything the relationship becomes dull because you've already done everything and sometimes you tend to get bored with each other which then increases a chance for a breakup/divorce. I'm not saying it happens with every couple because some like it rushed. Everyone is different. This is more of a theory and to me I think its helpful.

Back when I was a kid there were times when I acted up and I was sent out to pick a switch off a tree. You know.....those small thin little switches. Then I'd bring that to 'em and they'd tear my ass up a bit with the switch. XDDD

I never regreted my childhood and always thought that I got what I deserved. Now....I think a getting a switch is a bit overboard, but I am totally for using the belt to the butt whenever those rare occasions call for it. Its not like it ever left any brusies on me or anything. It hurts for like 5 min then its done.

some kids I think really do deserve a punch in the face... >.> or atleast some smack across their body where it'll hurt D:

My dad used to poke me in the chest really hard when I would pick on my brother and believe it or not that hurt after a few jabs. Plus it leaves behind a small bruise. But after pushing my brother around, I deserved to be pushed around by my dad.
