/random at king camp wipes

I was watching this whole thing on my roommate's screen and all I can say is that purpose is weak. Sure they have been around in the HNM scene longer, and we'd all think they are pros by now. WRONG! When I first saw Decidence's parses i was like wow, these guys must be really good! but on things that matter other than exp pt parses, these guys are below average. I mean they fucking take almost an hour on fafnir and half an hour to bring down behemoth. I'm sure they will get better eventually, but as of last night purpose is a joke. That darter mistake is the best thing that happened to them, cause it's the perfect scapegoat for their incompetency. Don't even start saying it was down to 75% in 10 minutes cause that is not what I saw. :)

Handing it over to Kaizen was a good move though, at least it's a win-win situation for them. But it wouldn't have hurt if they let the other Linkshells like Perseverance to give it a shot. Kaizen has been doing it for a long time, wouldnt you want another NA shell to succeed in your server? It would have bridged new friendships between Linkshells. There are a lot of good people in Perseverance ( I know this very well cause my roomie is in it), and I know they would return the favor if they were given one.

Another server comment... Quetz is 10 times better than other servers if you ask me, the server where I play, tell them about that darter mistake and everyone will go "OMGZ HE SAID THERE ARE DARTERS IN AERY!", "WTF THERE ARE DARTERS HERE? SINCE WHEN?!". Don't even think that NA shells on other servers play fair. So quit on bashing quetz, drama there is subtle and mostly myspace stuff only lolz. GO GO QUETZ!!

Wow, somebodies an idiot. I never said they played fair here ither. Matter of fact, I know 100% of these HNM shells claiming right now aren't doing so fairly but that's beside the point. It's about gear, which us Americans on Quetz are so very far behind on compaired to others. For every American player on Quetz with a Adaman Hauby or Dalmatica you'd probably be able to find five more on another server. Please go back to Hades or whatever server forum you belong to, we don't need more of you here.

Wow, somone doesn't know how the claiming system works. Its all luck claiming somthing like Fafhogg, since unlike somthing like Mee deggi, they are claimed the instant its possible to claim them. When the NMs pop, there is a random time from when you can see it, and when you can claim it. Somewhere from like .5 seconds, all the way up to at least 2 seconds. Thats why people are like "OMG, he was yellow for so long and I didnt claim!!!" If you try to claim in that dead zone between the NM popping and being allowed to become claimed, you are pretty much SoL. Your turn is over.

This is why a spell like flash, stun, etc are great for claiming Fafhogg. Because they have a built in delay. 3/4 of my LS's claims have been with flash. The days of Provoke and Chi Blast owning claims is long gone. Also, at somthing like Fafhogg, at least on this server, the flies are a non issue in claiming, which also reduces any kind of advantage for bots. (Kaizen, or lately us, kill the flies before every window).

Now. the "advantage" of bots. They potentially of the power to "remove" all the mobs except the NMs from your screen, they can target the NM the instant it pops, they can tele you to the NM, and they can voke/flash/stun/w.e the NM.

With flies killed, first advantage is removed. The second is somwhat of an advantage...but usually if the NM loads on your screen, you can see it. Its a big ass dragon in a rather small room. Tele to the NM, I'd like to see somone try that and last long in DA. Castle O. on Mee deggi is one thing...Fafhogg is another. Now the biggie, flash/voke/stuning the NM. While this sounds great...the fact is, nothing can predictthe random time interval that an NM is unclaimable. So basically to run a bot that vokes/tries to claim...you basically have to set in the delay for it. You have to guess. If you guess wrong...you lose...Not to menion the fact that half the time when the NM pops you get some form of lag which added with spell cast time should be more than enough to give you a shot at claiming.

As far as having a....what 40% claim rate I think it is...guess what happens when you bring 30+ people to a camp every day and constantly discuss the correct settings and abilities/spells to use to claim? You get claims. Its all a numbers game. 4 different people have claimed Fafnir for us, and I'm fairly certain 10 different people have claimed within the last 10 days. Do some people bot? Of course...we saw that with Heidegger voking fafnir while AFK. Does that mean everyone bots? So while you think you are 100% right that everyone bots, you are in fact 100% wrong in that assumption. And if anyone in my shell does bot, and I know Kaizen has the same policy, you are gone.

So please, and this goes out to everyone, stop assuming that everyone who camps kings bots. Next person to imply that some of my best friends in game for well over a year cheat, I'll make it my personal mission to take you down. Get your facts straight before posting garbage.

Speak for yourself. My linkshell is legit and we claimed Behemoth a couple days ago.

I totally agree. I have seen 0 proof of your shell botting, so I can not accuse you of anything. Anybody who thinks "zomg i got outclaimed, he must be botting" needs to stop and think... What makes you so much better that, as soon as you lose a claim, the other person must have cheated? Nothing. Even if I don't necessarily like your attitude, as of now, your shell is clean in my eyes.

Heidegger on the other hand... :D

I know how the claiming works as I'm no rookie camping them. Thanks for your little run down though. I would also like to let you know, partially you're right, but when your squad is outclaiming botting squads RED FLAD goes up. It may happen once in a blue moon but not as often as a few days later. I know how it makes you feel though, I was once part of a shell like yours and I also believed everyone had their nose cleaned.
 
So strid since my shell must be botting according to you would you please tell me where one gets bots for PS2.

Maybe you should sell your character again and go back to WoW since noone in End Game plays fair on this server or in FFXI at all.

Why would I do that? I never said I was complaining nor did I say I cared. Seriously, I'm not sure why you shortbuses still try this one. Had I bought an account, now that would be a good burn. Also, I still play Wow so techinically I can't "go back" to it.
