So, as many of you know I nearly died in Feb. Was honestly the worst month of my life but some good came out of that for it finally started my Lung Transplant Assessment.
Well, after many many stress filled appointments and random doctors telling me that a little fuck up I did a few months/years ago would make it so I couldn't get on the list. Today I just met with the head surgeon and he okay'd me for the list. After I met with him several doctors came out and said congrats and shook my hand.
So after many years of fighting and many many hospital stays and nearly dying I FINALLY GOT ON THE TRANSPLANT LIST.
And the coolest thing is that the blood type group I'm in only has 3 people "ahead" of me on the list. I put ahead in quotes cause I might be a better match then those 3 people for the next pair of lungs so really. The next time someone dies I'll be at the Wal-mart camping those lungs!
Fuck man, that's such a massive weight lifted. You guys have no idea.
