Request to Link of FFXI File Download on QCDN

While back there was someone I think from Insurrection that posted a thread, with a file format to download, to replace the original FFXI files with the 'updated' files, so you'd only have a 20min check on your ffxi files, rather than the long download process.

It was during/after an update, someone got done early and posted the files.

Anyone know the link to this? I can not seem to find it.

I know it is some older files, but my friend's computer wiped, and going to see if it possible to replace the newly installed ffxi files with those files, and maybe cut the time down on the original download/checkup.

Anything helpful is appreciated, thanks. Or if anyone has some possible updated files or a link to download them quicker, than to download them from POL itself.

-Off subject, Darkscythe was requesting that I ask to allow him to post/remove his restrictions(Think he has had a user account for a month or so now), so he may post in Endgame Discussion etc. If not, how does he bypass it?
 
I'm not sure if it's permissible to post the link here, so I'll just say if you Google 'download ffxi update files', I think the second hit that comes up is the one you're looking for. However, if it was me, I'd just slug through the POL update and not be subjected to possible malicious files that may have been placed in that download.

A link to the FAQ's is posted in most (if not all) mods' signatures. According to those FAQ's, aside from the FB, he should be able to post in all areas. Users with fewer than 10 posts, though, have to have their posts approved by a modmin. Does he have fewer than 10 posts?
 
This guy posted the link/download he himself personally made a couple months ago. Was an easy download/and swap guide along with the files. Was a daily QCDN poster actually~hence why I asked for it here. I do not like random people on google. ._.

ABout DS: I read it and will check it out, don't think he has but like 3-5 posts so far. ^^;
 
DS is all set. He didn't activate his account via the e-mail.

As for the link to a legitimate site that has just a download of the files if anyone has the link knock your socks off.

Its np. ^^ Finds out that DS had a backup hardrive acting as a means to replace his one hardrive if ever it got wiped. He just installed FFXI / Updated it like a month ago.
