Im normally very lenient with Japanese players being disrespectful and rude... Such as having a merit party of them come and push our party out of the Mire as we were fighting, things like that. Sure, Ill ask em to leave, and if they dont, I just pack up my stuff and find a new camp. Im sure several people remember this incident (Zerayla and Xean from memory.)

Thats all and fine... But just where does a JP get off when I boot him from a party because his job is a PLD, and he doesnt want to change to /war, and he throws a fit...?

Perhaps I did react too quickly according to some peoples standards, but he had two chances, and thats enough for me. Change your job when I ask you if you want to keep your party, if you dont change it... You dont exp, simple as that.

Wannabe Meeze over something really stupid?

You do realize that p/nin can still hold hate off most things that would be in a merit party with a pld. (i.e. jobs that aren't nin mnk or war)

Sorry, weak flame.

Rude JP? I call oxymoron, JPs are perfect.

I'm sure that list is pretty short, maybe with gimps like yourself it would be easy, but not a real DD.

lol, no not a wannabe meeze... Definitely not. So now booting people from a party makes em a meeze ball-bag?

yeah, no PLD/NIN was going to hold hate off of the MNK, SAM or even myself as BLU, because PLD/WAR I replaced him with even lost hate a couple times rather easily.

Weak or not... Its not here for competition

Although a PLD/WAR is most desireable because it is basically a guarantee hate keeper...

PLD/NIN can keep hate if they do the the right things. Flash brings the PLD plenty of hate, and with two weapons they can deal damage to keep hate. That is, if they use a shield like PLDs are supposed too. A good enough PLD should be able to hold hate with Cure's and what not, and Utsusemi can help keep the PLD alive in dire situations. The added debuffs as well like Hojo and Jubaku can help, although they are only :Ichi. Those too add hate to a PLD/NIN.

I remembered that lvl 75 JP merit pt that came and camped on top of us while we were around 70. So much for the stereotype of them having better game ethics than NA players. -_-

On another note, I really don't get PLDs that are into being PLD/NIN. I understand if its your only job at 75 and you need to get merits you might have to go as PLD/NIN, but if you wanted to be a DD you should of chosen a different job.

The Japanese are superior in every way when compared to the NA player.

I partied with this JP once. In fact, it was me Kelga and Reiyn, and i was skeptical at first (This was at level 63ish iirc). He did a great job keeping hate and it turned out to be a great party.

Moral of the story...Don't knock it till you've tried it?

knocking his attitude, not his choice of job combination. If he wanted to go pld/nin, he can, but I did prefer pld/war, and I did ask him. Another pt can pick him up without the attitude, no biggie

I'm pretty sure their "better ethics" is limited to dealings with other JP players. Most of them hate NAs :P

Sorry, i dont see him being rude anywhere in the pics until after you booted him. He was seeking as /NIN, so that is what he wanted to PT as, if he wanted to sub WAR he would have put it in him search comment.

In FFXI, you never do what you want, you do what other people want. (lol)

But really, the pt wasnt even started, it had JUST been completely formed. Waited at most 5 minutes, which would most likely be as if he wasnt in a pt at all. I preferred a pld/war, which he didnt wanna play as, thats fine, so I looked for a pld that would use /war. I did ask him to change, and if he wasnt going to, well, then someone that wants a pld/nin in their pt can invite him.

That's bullshit. No one really wants a pld to merit with, so they go /nin and try to DD because that's the only way to get merits at a decent pace.

I was in that pt once you got the new pld.

The pld we got was good, but there is no way that a pld / nin was gonna hold hate in that pt.

Nice to meet you Ruff

hehe
