There's no proof to the contrary, and that seems to be the trend so far, soooo... I can't say it's not speculation since it hasn't been tested to hell and back yet, but it's not just a guess.

Deimos only looks like Darksteel Plate armor.

Rutters use the feet from the Darksteel Plate set. =O

I haven't see the gear myself, but maybe you were thinking Mythril (the black armour) instead of Darksteel?

Teir 1 is standard mob drop, teir 2 is NM drop, teir 3 is off the boss only.

There's no latents on them, what are you talking about?

Actually, I'd guess tier 2 drops from the Archaic mobs, and tier 3 is boss-onry.

Supposedly the mini-bosses (like Mad bomber etc.) makes the last boss weaker. Although I suppose the mini bosses could drop tier-2 aswell.

By killing Mad Bomber, the last boss supposdly becomes enfeebable.

Basically. But my point still stands. Drk AF gets the only thing it had going for it taken away. Wasn't the case with any others.
