*I agree with Serza, i know i triple check anything over 100k. This may sound insensitive but those are the breaks for not paying attention. It is like a car accident, you stop paying attention and you wreck. I am sorry though, i know if i lost like 700k i would punch myself, but those are the breaks for haste.

Calling someone else names for another person's mistake is a very childish thing to do. Get a life. She made a mistake now she has to live with the consequesnces. You seem a whole lot angrier about it than the actual person that it happened to. What's your deal eh? The person that got lucky enough to get it because of the mistake is not at fault in the least. He made and completed a transaction in a completely fair manner. it even says "All transactions are final" when you put things up for sale. you have to click "yes" 3 times to put it up for sale. Anyone that unobservant NEEDS to live with the consequesnces to teach them to pay attention more in the future. Acting like a child about it now is not going to change the fact that a mistake was made and now consequesnces are being paid.

Ok I had a mistake in the original post, she did mean to sell the kotes but did it at a lower price. She didn't mean to set it so low, she left out a 0 and wasn't paying attention that well. Now she did realize her mistake efter the fact but upon realizing it she knew very well what the outcome would be and Sanoske has very clearly demonstrated it. She knew she would not get her gil back. She was very scared at the time and did not know what to do. I did but she did not tell me until 1 day later and by that time Sanoske had already logged off.
Now 2nd of all, I have nothing against you, Direwolf, I did not even know you were the person getting the gloves not do I care. I do however have a problem with the fact your friend made you out to be ahuge pity case when it appears you are far from it. He made it quite clear that you were in dire need of the gloves and would quit without them which is most definately not the case. You farmed up quite alot of gil for those gloves and could almost afford them but instead you bought them from Sanoske and I can see a problem with that. However, my friend Mystangel worked hard to farm her gil also and it just so happens that she screwed up and I was asking nicely (and I did regardless of what Sanoske says). However it would be nice to return them but that was totally up to Sanoske.
Now as for Sanoske the "Saint". Oh wow you got lucky once and immediately sold the gloves. You sound like such a nice guy but how come instead of her contacting you, you contact her? I mean obviously you knew of the mistake first otherwise she would have taken it off the AH. You even knew she was on when you bought the kote why did you not contact her then? Its because you didn't want to return it. Now you seem like a really nice guy giving your friend those Kote acting so generous, but oh wait he paid you for them and quite generously too. Maybe it wasn't the full AH price but it was very damn close considering you got them for 75k. Hmmm can you say greed. I mean if he was truly a friend why not just the 75k? Oh wait you wanted some free gil too.

My friend worked hard and alot to get her stuff and she made a mistake. Yes it happens to people and they get screwed. But I wasn't asking them, I was asking you to be a good person but no you basically flat out refused especially after you made it seem like you gave them away for nothing. If he was a friend he would understand and let you return the kote.
I know, the game is full of assholes like this and people make mistakes like this all the time. I've seen friends do it and even had people over pay on items and they returned it as did I, I was just hoping that maybe the karma goes around and people have some decency but it appears most people don't. They cheer on someone who gets lucky as a hero and never even think of the person that gets screwed. If it was your friend would you try to help him or her? You're damn right you would but I guess when you get screwed you can just bitch about how aweful the world is and realize its fucks like you that make it like that...
And from now on I guess the golden rule is if someone screwed up in your favor don't fix it that would be the good thing to do. Just tell them thats too bad and to cry to someone who cares. (To be honest I am not sure if thats sarcasm or not.)

First off, when did I ever call myself a "saint" of any kind? Never once did I say anything of the sort(nor did anyone else for that matter). I did not "immediately" sell the kote, I actually waited a day to see if the seller would contact me, which she didn't. And when I saw that another pair had been purchased, frankly, I was confused but figured that it wasn't going to turn into a problem. I did not know she was on when I bought the kote, because honestly I was a little too excited to look who the seller was.
When you did contact me, you were at first polite, I never denied that. However, when you found that I would not ask my friend to return the kote... you began to swear at me(not a good solution btw). Once the kote were sold, they were not mine anymore, therefore I cannot do anything regarding them.
As for the whole friend-giving-away deal... I was originally going to give the kote to a good friend who is in need of them. However, he refused the kote because he knew that I needed the gil. Direwolf presented the solution where he would pay me a much discounted price(not even close to AH price) and the kote could be kept in the circle for use. So, in the end, my friend in need did get the kote.

And our friend has no issues with "borrowing" them from me because he knows that I can make gil at a fairly brisk pace when I try, so he has no guilt about dragging me down. I very much fear our third friend will quit FF and if lending these gloves to him makes him stay that much longer so be it. The amount I paid is a paltry price to pay to keep our friend ingame.
