You miss the point. It's not that I'm /cutting over anything you all have said. I could care less what you and your buddies think. I'll even go so far as to say the lot of you can be pretty entertaining here on the flameboards. I just don't see the need to be gross to other people in posts that don't have anything to do with you for no reason whatsoever. I'm not asking for some forum nazi to come in and sew people's mouths shut, and I'm not saying people should be banned or suspended. If you reread my original post, I'm asking for a tiny measure of common sense and common courtesy. I didn't think it was a lot to ask for, especially from someone who, from what we can see above, wants to act like he's so grown up because he can talk smack wherever he wants. Here's a tip: Talking shit doesn't make you a grown-up. It makes you sometimes entertaining. And other times, like in Good Times threads that have nothing to do with you, it makes you a juvenile.

I just don't understand why time and again here on QCDN the same people need to carry a shitty attitude and their smart-ass comments out into the other forums where they don't belong. The flameboard got brought back so you can be a dickhead to your heart's content where the rest of everyone can pretend to care and tell you what an asshole you are. But honestly, is it necessary to go into, say, a Good Times thread and post some inane comment just to be a total cretin? If someone is saying goodbye to a friend or posting about something they've accomplished would it kill you to show some class and maybe some self-restraint and not say something stupid just because you can? If you're so sure you don't care, or that what someone is saying is beneath your attention, then why taint it with your foulness? Leave it alone. You want to flame someone or talk about what a loser you think they are or how much better you are then they? Do it here. Stop taking that shit into places where it isn't appropriate. It's just really tacky and unnecessary.

What if you had a new "sockpuppetish" Mod who would slightly alter the flame/zing/cry for attention that doenst belong in the Goodtimes goodbye threads or other threads that arent the Flameboard? The reason it would be a sockpuppet is so that said mod can have freedom to do what they need to do without it screwing with their regular posting/modding duties.

Ex. If someone feels like saying "Fuck you and the horse you rode in on" in someones goodbye thread, it could be edited "I dont know where the Flameboard is, could someone please link it for me?" it doenst need to be really annoying/brash to the flamer/zinger/one who cry's for attention. And if said flamer gets pissy, you can just point to the fact that, well... FLAMES DONT BELONG OUTSIDE THE FLAMEBOARD and tell them thusly "Good day sir, YOU LOSE!"

Everyone picked it, because thats the only example that was given. No one is really disagreeing with you on this. I just think that instead of flaming someone for a silly joke they said about something that happened years ago, you can move on and laugh.

It wasn't an example I gave, Makelith. I didn't name names and I said it in broad terms because it's happening in a lot of posts, not just the one everyone is bringing up which particularly irritated me because yes, I had a personal connection to it. And since I was the original OP, I found it interesting that's the example everyone's pointing to.

So Neo or leggo or w/etf you call yourself, you can act like I got all butthurt only because that particular post was having to do with a friend of mine, despite the fact I never brought that thread up at any point. Whatever you want to think. Like I said, I've made it clear how high my opinion is of what you think. Reality is, that unlike you and your troll-drone friends, I have a mind of my own. I had a point to make and I made it. I made a simple request of what I assumed to be somewhat intelligent people to keep their flames and irrelevent, snipey crap to the flameboard.
