CONGRADULATIONS! You have just said..... NOTHING! What is your highest craft? Just about any craft is easy 1-60! You know NOTHING! I have woodworking at 98.3 currently. I have been doing this for well over a year. In the last 3 months I have leveled Thf from 15-17 and Drk from 50-52 (in a static). The rest of that time has been almost exclusively spent leveling woodworking from 77-98. I have a permenant residence in port San. So please don't come here and spew your crap with your measely experience like you actually know anything.

You think I'm dumb at how the way crafting works? Just cause I don't have a craft at 100? wow.. you're pretty dense.. I can't learn by playing with a friend's craft that's at 100? I can't read and make an educated guess on my own? you sir are an idiot. Congratulations! If you seriously can't make money from your Woodworking at 98.. you suck.. a lot. I have friends at 70 or so woodworking that make money easily enough from it. I'm not dumb at how things are.. so shuddup.

These are qoutes from you. You ARE ignorant and have no experience getting a craft to 100. You think because you played with a friends character at 100 that you actually know what it takes to get it there? All that time I spent "leveling" my craft, wasnt all just spent "skilling up". I include the time I spend crafting to make money so I can spend it skilling up.

You are right though, yes I make easily a mil in a week. However, considering that I, just this morning woke up early so that I could craft 10 lancewood logs (100k loss per) for a lousy .1 skillup, that week's worth of work went bye-bye really quick.

Let me clue you in to something Ele: The higher you go, the more expensive the materials get, and the skillups become far more rare. My next synth is 300k per. If the normal pattern of 40synths per level holds, that is 12mil for that 1 level. Tell me again how easy it is to make gil as you level?




Oh, and Rin, the Port is my "Base of Operations" :P
 
I know that, Alanon... but all you do is craft to make gil? seriously.. go farm sometimes.. try gardening for awhile with 10 plants growing at once.. try even hunting a NM off and on to get a drop if you wanna really make a lot of gil. Don't limit yourself to ONE way of attaining gil. Try them all. I only limit myself from using NMs to make gil cause I think that it's wrong. That's my choice.. try and doing more than just crafting for gil.. come on.. try. And don't start thinking I only make money from HNMs cause I haven't been to a HNM in 3 months or so. Especially one that dropped a money item.
 
I dont think he has actually said that he does not do other things for gil, just that he spends alot of time crafting and that the cash he makes from it goes very quickly.

Anyway...just a random question in an inapropriate place. Does synth assistance actually do anything when you are like lvl 98 or w/e at a craft?
 
Synthesis Assistance always helps increase chance at success.. anyways... He might not.. but he chooses to use that gil to level up a craft more. He doesn't have to really if he doesn't want to.. so I don't see what the problem is. I'm sure Tiya could synthesis items.. HQ... sell for gil.. and use that gil for armor and/or skill ups. But it seems that Tiya chooses to camp argus mainly for profit.. there's many other things you could do.

First you say that NM camping is wrong and it's "so easy" to make money getting a craft from 1-100. Now you tell me to get out and make gil by farming and camping NMs??

Seriously I was avoiding this topic until you started spewing your font of crafting knowledge, but now that I am here, Ill go back to the topic. Phraust, Tiya and others prefer camping NMs as their choice to make gil. I prefer crafting. Some prefer farming. etc. etc.

There are so many choices in this game. Farming, crafting, camping, HELMing, etc. If everyone did one, it would suck! WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU to say that they are greedy or selfish?!?! They are doing what they consider to be the most enjoyable way to go about a tedious task. They are not doing it illegally. Im just sick of the way you troll these boards and spout off your opinions as if they are Gospel and everyone else should bow to your "Wisdom" or be damned.

wow.. you are dumb.. I don't think camping a NM for gil is right cause I think they should be used for the item.. however you and anyone else has full right to camp them. But I'm trying to point out that there is more than one method to use to make gil. And that if they really have a gil problem they can start doing more things to make gil. Seriously.. gardening is like.. once a week thing for 3 weeks. Crafting can be once a day for a few hours. Farming once a day for a few hours. Helping others for gil (though I think that helping others for free should be the way to go) or playing the AH in general. In a month.. you can make a lot of gil.. don't believe me? fine.. don't. I think you are just countering me now cause you don't like me and just trying to piss me off. You aren't considering what I'm saying.. so arguing with you is pointless.

Cythe, if that is what you got out of it, then so be it. It's one thing to have an opinion, it's quite another to spout off the crap Ele does. She speaks crap without experience, and everyone who doesn't agree with her (which is probably the bulk of this board) is greedy or selfish or mean or stupid.

Ofcourse u havn't u are just bullshitting u have nothing to back up unlike me.

If monopolizing an NM over and over is justified then so is MPK and helping gil sellers and selling and buying gil.Ofcourse u sell gil when u are poor and u buy gil when u are poor in game.You MPK someone cuz u are angry at them.see? i can give a reason for anything out there.Ofcourse its wrong.

if u want my opinion Elemmire is correct about trying other things instead of one. why because its a god damm game and in this game there are so many ways to make gill.

and just to point something out if tiya persophone or whatever the fucking name is and rinas are in that maze and not leaving that area for a month or hell even longer then it just means.

1 they are pretty much suck at claiming argus.

2 they are monopolizing that item.

3 they are botting.

Sorry, but this has been buggin the shit out of me. Opinions are ok, but she says stupid shit without any experience like it's a fact. It'd be like me saying that Paladin is an easy job, all you do is voke and shield bash. Then you come in, being the 75 Pld that you are, and tell me where Im wrong. Then I come back with, "Cythe, you ar dumb blah blah blah"

This is the perfect example. She says something about crafting to 100 (which she has no experience in by the way) like its a fact. I disagree with it. Next thing you know, I am being called dense, and idiot, dumb, stupid. Tell me that wouldn't bug the hell out of you.
