In my many moons of Chocopimping, I've noted the fact that well over 2/3 of my cards are being bought by males as a gift for their significant other.

This leads me to ask, is a pair of chocobos really that romantic of a gift? You would have no idea how many orders of chococards I randomly got a few days before valentines. ;

Now I've noticed chocobo racing is growing more popular as more and more people realize the heaping amounts of gil it makes, but seriously, come on...

Shouldn't you be getting her, like, a rose, or a signed diamond ring? or a HQ heart chocolate or something, not a wtfchocobo egg?

The reason that I got my two cards as a gift was because I've been dating my significant other for over 3 years now. xD The roses and chocolate get old in game so I figured I'd get him something I know he'd enjoy. I don't think he's looked into breeding too much so I don't think he really knew that you could get a colored one this easily. It was something different then the norm and useful so I figured why not? xD

First place prize for the C1 crystal stakes cup is 100K.

Youy can do this race once per day. It adds up fast, especially if you bet another couple hundred K on your own bird... ^_^

On another note, maybe it's just the big tough dudes trying to make up an excuse as to why they'd want a bird, when in reality it's cvause they think it's soooo cooooooootttttt :3
