So, did anyone else go Spider-man 3 yet? It was a great film, I enjoyed it more than I thought. I'll keep things brief, I don't want to spoil too much, but it worked out pretty well with 3 villains (there was no 4th).

It was 2 & 1/2 hours, and they juggled 3 villains pretty well, Venom got more screen time than I thought he would. His origin and Sandman's were done extremely fast, so the movie moved at a quick pace.

I'm just hoping this is the end of it all. They leave a few slight things open so you can always have another movie ready to go, but with this one they really should call it over.

Action was well done, Peter & MJ's love story is handled well, and the explanation with Ben Parker makes sense at the end, so overall I think it's an excellent end to the series if it stops here.

Venom was too short-lived. I was hoping for a problem throughout the movie, not a 30-40 minute dilema<if that>. Was a good movie, and they made sandman well, all you can really do with sand.

Good movie, but had some disappointing features.

It was a very lame movie. I felt they tried to fit soooo much in one flick. Everything dragged out, too many NOT funny scenes and honestly too many Villans. I was so dissapointed with the movie man... Everyone at the Theater was trying to show some respect, clapping and what not during different parts. By end they were just sighing and whatnot. I think it kicked in what... the 5th or 6th time they took 5minutes just to let PParker cry... AGAIN... my god... Venom looked like.. a little geek... with plastic on... wtf Venom is not supposed to even closly resemble PParkers build lol... Oh god i was so sad, there are so many bad things to point out about the movie. The only things i enjoyed were hmmm, Sandman was well done considering he is lame in the Spidey story(were in the movie they treated venom as some side villan lol) and honesty kicking in again... I enjoyed to movie being over.

Yeah, it didn't blow me away, but I was expecting Venom for like 5-10 minutes, he got more time than I thought he would, so I was pleased. A lot of people wanted it to live up to part 2, which I doubted it could do.

I must admit, this one did have the funniest scenes out of all 3 films. The Bruce Campbell part in the restaurant was hysterical, along with Peters "dance montage".

Difference of opinion. I will admit some drama scenes dragged a bit, but I didn't mind. I thought the humor scenes were great, most of the theater I was in was cracking up constantly, but then again we had a good vibe, people were making jokes throughout the film.

The whole thing with Venom being Spider-mans build doesn't matter much to me. They already changed Harry into some Master Chief looking villain on a flying skateboard, so let the film change Venom if they want, it's already changed enough of the comic books original design.

Whichever way, everyone who liked the other Spider-man films will see it, no matter what, so it'll be another huge success for Sony pictures and Marvel. I just hope it ends here.

My brothers went to the midnight show last light. I didn't want to be a zombie at work so I passed, but they were awake when I got up for work.

Me: How was it?
Brother 1: Meh, it was alright.
Brother 2: Spiderman cried.
Me: What?
Brother's friend: Yeah, Parker cried a few times.
Me: That's kind of lame.
Brother 1: Remember that part where...

I had to leave the room. My brothers are asses and ruin movies all the time. But yeah, I've talked to a few guys here at work who saw it, and the response has generally been "Meh, it was alright, Sandman was pretty sweet looking."

I think I'll see it Sunday afternoon, hopefully it won't be as crowded.

This is a mini-game: Go see Spider-Man 3 twice for each time you saw Daredevil.

I haven't seen it yet, there were no tickets left for yesterdays midnight show in San Juan! I'm planning on going today at lunch and see it before returning to the office.

This movie sucked out loud. Please God, let the franchise end here.

First off, Venom absolutley must have a big, flapping, slimy, foul tounge. This is not a fucking option. I can buy the whole build thing, I just cannot accept no rude tounge. Venom = fail.

When dealing with the symbiote and the changes it had on Parker, I'm quite certain they could have done a few more things to illustrate how violent and powerful it really is. Somehow emo-Parker dancing down the street, flirting with women just didn't quite capture the extremely violent, homicidal nature of Venom. Need I remind everyone that this thing is supposed to be one badass motherfucker. Too physically powerful for Spider Man to go toe to toe with, and too evil for him to handle.

Continuity, continuity, continuity, continuity!!! Fuck! Real quick, Peter Parker does not use Gwen Stacy as a fucking tool to taunt MJ. k? As a reader of SM I find this to be even moar offensive than casually ripping off his mask in front of 100 people on the train in #2. It's fine by me if you wanna start the whole film franchise off with MJ, cool, great. Start it with MJ, you never get to mention, much less show, Gwen Stacy.

Sandman....lol, cry moar.

This movie cum's in the mouth of the Spider Man's integrity, Venoms integrity, and drags out a Ben Parker storyline that really hasn't been billed for what it is in the books. Continuity has been violated in the worst possible way (next to clones) and the overall feel of the film was yet another hokey Sam Raimi flopasaurus. All it needed was Arnold Schwarzenegger in a Mr. Freeze suit.

I wasn't too pleased with Venom, but he did get way more screentime then I imagined so I was happy.

All in all it was a good end to the series. Obviously they tried to cram a lot in the movie, but I took it for as is and it was a very cool end to the plot ties and storylines proposed in the first two of the series. Everything is wrapped up very nicely. Topher Grace was pretty cool as Eddie/Venom though. He was cocky as all hell and had some presence on screen.

Personally, they should've just cut Sandman from the movie and made the entire thing Venom vs Spiderman. The build up and anticipation to that would've been awesome.

Though, I enjoyed the movie and I'm glad I saw it. I'll be going again on sunday.

Oh sht. This has me nervous right now in my desk. I know what you mean and it scares me. Please God let it not be THAT bad. D=

Man venom is possibly biggest villan in spiderman story, could argue others(Carnage for one). Brock was a 700ilb weight lifter, who was also a reporter and has psychopathic intentions... they turned him into a Pparker clone who can't even do his job;; the problem is they try to seamlessly link al these stories together and man as we see it just does not work. Sure the movie has some kinda cool action sequances but you can't aim for something(spiderman storyline and characters) and hit something else miles away(spiderman3 and most other comic movies) and call it a success lol. But hey who cares its going to sell millions anyways

According to the Showbiz Show (so I don't know how credible this is), Sony has signed to make another 3 "Spider-Man" movies.

I don't think that's true. Every article I've read since they started SpiderMan 3-ing everything has Tobey Macguire and Kirsten Dunst not wanting to make another one. Tobey said he'd come back in a few years if the script was good and everyone was back. Honestly, I feel three is enough of anything.

Err, yeah forgot to add that after he said that, Tobey and Kirsten don't know if they'll want to do another 3 and then David Spade went into some cheap shot about Spider-Man that I don't remember.

I caught the midnight show.. The fight scenes were pretty cool, however i have to agree with most people... There was alot of cheasy parts...alot. I had people laughing in the theatre when it was supposed to be a serious scene because of that. and the whole emo thing... i mean wtf were they thinking.

1 name.. GWEN STACY! :D one of the most controversial things in comic book history :P (for when it came out) but I bet no one knows that except mah nerdy self :|

*spoilers*

Whut? The fact that Spidey snapped her neck when the Green Goblin dropped her off a bridge? Or that they had two children together with Norman Osborn and it was weird?

Oh god, when they decided to make Gwen Stacy have an affair with Norman, that was one of the worst plot twists ever in the Spider-man comics. I'm glad they barely used Gwen in this movie, it's obvious Mary Jane is always going to be the love interest in these films. Thank god they didn't try to cram a love story with her in here, cause it wouldn't have worked, not with everything that was already going on.

Totally. :\

Though, I liked Bryce Dallas Howard as Gwen. She fit the bill perfectly, even if all she had to do was be a goofy blond. I hope they use her in more movies, at least. Maybe as a secondary character or even as a big plot point (like in the Ultimate Verse where Gwen thought Spidey killed her dad).

Gwen was OK after frikin' J Michael Strazinskiburger made that horrible Sins Past storyline... and Gwendolyn was already dead when the Goblin threw her of the bridge. Idk how Peter lets everyone fool him so easily...
