I found when I used to play, alot of people used to really suck at their priorities. Store TP can be better than haste. A 7 hit build with some extra haste isn't as good as a 6 hit build with no haste.

To achieve a 6 hit build (which is basically the TP from your weapon skill + 5 more hits to reach 100 tp, or 6 hits starting from 0 tp), you need 45 store tp, including the store TP from your traits. Once you have 45 store tp, you can then focus on haste gear.

Would be a good idea how to explain how to reach this 45 store TP and what gear would be most viable to utilize this aspect. To start things off =P

This is keeping in mind that you're using Hagun too.

24 store TP comes from just being a SAM 75, so you only need another +21 in gear. 10 you can get from merits, so now you're down to +11 in gear.

Usual gear options to get that last +11 Store TP:
Raja's Ring (+5)
Brutal Earring(+1)/Chivalrous Chain (+1)
Usukane Feet(+7)/Hachiman Feet(+5)

The other slots with Store TP require you to sacrifice something more important; for less benefit. Usukane feet are obviously the best option for feet, but they're not easy to get.

Putting 5/5 merits into STP means you only need 5 more with a 450 GK.

Can be achieved by using one piece of hachiman (hands preferably, or feet), askar korazin (situationally nice, otherwise not so good) or ideally Usukane Sune-ate, which not only give you the right STP but the Haste too, meaning you can use full haste build with 6-hit.

Aiming for a 5-hit build with GK just isn't worth it.

This is not correct. I have already posted elsewhere on this forum exactly how to calculate Store TP and why. With a 450 delay GKT, 45 Store TP is not enough. It has to be 46 or higher.

If you don't reach that number then you have a 7 hit build or lesser, again assuming the delay you are basing the calculation on is 450.

Baja's right, you need 11, but i guess you're assuming they're using Rajas/Brutal, should still mention it though so people don't get confused :P.

With 5 Store TP merits, you need +11 Store TP to have a 6-hit build with a 450 delay GK.

i thought trait gave +25. But anyway there is also askar corrazzin and usukane haramaki.

Askar body is generally not good to be part of your main 6 hit build since you would be giving up a good amount of accuracy and Usu body, for the average player, is more than likely out of reach.

I wouldn't wear Usukane body for meleeing anyways, Hauby + usukane feet, which are a much easier to obtain item, is a much better combinaiton.

Only way I could see myself wearing the body would be if I had the full set so I'll be sticking with my Hauby+1 and Usu feet combo.

will only need 4/5 store TP if you using brutal earring and hachiman hand, unless you have other weapons like polearm for 5 hit build

Assuming they're using Rajas/Brutal, sorry about that.

Usu body is 12 acc 8 dex (= +18 acc) and 8 STR. It's superior to any other body. Body + feet allow you to get rid of rajas in low acc situaion.

Edit: anyway this confirms what i thought, that is that askar is inferior to hauby+1 on SAM. Wonder why so many use it.

Eh? Hauby+1 is +16 acc and +16 atk, +6 str and dex. I dont think any sam is that dying for acc, even in a meatbuild.

Accuracy isn't an issue for SAM, so the extra accuracy on Usukane body is meaningless since you're giving up a bunch of attack for it. It's only the superior body if the rest of your gear sucks.

Askar is a better body piece than Hauby during weapon skills, and if your accuracy is high enough, or if you balance it out with accuracy on another piece, then it could be a better body for TPing.

Usukane feet is not much easier than body as they both require a full group to get the lv25 piece. The 35 can be trioed in both cases.

My wallet begs to differ.

No, lol. Unless my memory isn't what it used to be, or they changed it.

Store TP works in a very fundamental and simplistic manner, and has always worked in the same way.

45% of 11.5 is 5.175, decimals after the first are truncated.

11.5 + 5.1 = 16.6.

16.6 x 6 = 99.6.

16.6 x 7 = 116.2

This is a 7 hit build.

I'm not sure what part of this is difficult to understand, but please don't post misinformation.
