Yes, he did, and that's what Kalia is filing a lawsuit about. Paypal also locked Kalia's Paypal account after he had logged on it.

No. You are wrong. Kalia himself locked the paypal so Taj couldn't go and get the ACTUAL information. The shit he posted was just an email from paypal to him confirming everything. Taj never accessed his paypal. Just the GMail + BG.
 
And for the record, He's an idiot for letting all of this get to his head and letting this happen, Tymon and I have been talking about it for a few days now. Not trying to justify what he did was right. But I have access to more info than most of you. :<
 
Does this mean it might be bad idea to use windower now? He was a creative member among the team so it begs the question, is the program he made really safe if he will just hack accounts just to do it. Aside from that, it also begs the question if putting your trust into a program made by users which has no guarantee to your own safety(for lack of a better word) is a wise decision?

Not trying to stir up trouble, but I have used both windower and the lite version and this just leaves me wondering if I should drop them altogether.

No, Lavi. Check windower forums. And where did Taj say he logged onto his paypal Uzor? Because he never did.

And as of now the windower has no met functions whatsoever. So there is no keylogger presently.
 
In the long, giant thread where it was revealed that Kalia bought gil. Kalia said he locked his account when he found out Taj had logged on his Paypal account etc.

Aside from possibly setting the dispute between Uzor and Odon, I don't see how that's relevant.

Any way you cut it, Taj decided that being the internet hero of thousands made him above the rules, and hopefully is finding out differently as we speak.
 
At this point it really is a wonder as to how someone completely surpasses all manners of personal decency. I read this with sad eyes, but not because these individuals lost their accounts, but because it's beyond me as to why someone would place himself above the general rules of complacent society. I don't care how he hacked, what he hacked, or when he hacked, the thing is, he did it. He compromised something these people obviously enjoy (the reason I'm sure we all play right? We enjoy it.), just because he could. Vigilante of the internet or no, it's indecent and again, makes me sad to see.

Probably the biggest wonder to me is... how does someone justify these actions to themselves? I mean, yeah, video game information was compromised, but the important thing is, you're destroying what's not yours, and that's not ok. That's all it really comes down to.
 
I'm just trying to say he didn't hack his paypal. He posted screens of Gmail emails of receipts from Paypal.

So like I said, only idiots get their accounts hacked. To elaborate, if you REALLY feel the need to let someone else access your account for whatever reason, DON'T WRITE YOUR POLID/PW DOWN ANYWHERE ON THE INTERNET. Get their phone number, call them and do it that way. Whatever you wanna do, but if you leave a virtual paper trail, especially on some crappy forum, you're going to get hacked. Not maybe, you are.
