Tally = Forces of Altana Owned

Well in the past I'd just go on blm or rdm and cure, buff, raise and nuke. However, I've noticed that when I go at the same time as my bf when he is on drk, he usually nets a significant amount of xp more than I do for the same amount of time spent, even if I stay busy the whole time. So I thought it might net me more xp if (like Jeska mentioned before) I melee while nuking/curing/etc. ;)

WIN. (and rate^)

Why the fuck don't people do that anyway? You can melee all you god damn want, as long as it's not the only thing you do.

Also, I hit 100% of the time on normal hits w/283 GKT skill, I don't think I've ever missed when it wasn't an utsu shadow.

So you're saying my level 50ish scythe skill isn't going to get me extra exp???

/sigh...guess I'll stay in the back, nuking and running away from things. (Edit: Until I get my scythe skill skilled up a ton...meaning probably forever) :(

You can skillup off Fortifications between Tags at Offensive areas. I used to do this with Club and Sword, so go to an offensive area during a Campaign Battle, attack the Fortification without Tags, and get your scythe to its cap @ lv50 (55 maybe) BLM.

Good luck

cuz bastok is @ 0/300 resources~, missions available depends on cities current state and missions done by others.

mobs have definitely been buffed, vuud vangaurds use to hit me for about 70~ when they managed to land hits (on dnc), even tho they were THFS i didnt have much trouble and could usually handle 2. Last time they hit me for 140~ and i was fighting a losing battle against 1 of em, my WS's seem to be doing less too, bout 100 dmg lower.
Ya they did buff them alittle which I don't mind to much means we actually get to see those towers ans siege cannons. Not to mention nice exp and more campaign ops to do. Only thing I hate is stupid bombers that attack then warp kinda hard keep them from not completing there mission. As curing cap if remember that was put in place fore those idiots that sat at the C.A and just continue to cure them selfs. Unfortunately way thing work people get punished as a whole and not individual.

Wait you mean you can hit those things when there no campaign going on?

probably occurs less now, before the forts would stay up for a long time before and after campaigns started, havent seen that after the patch. And they will also only take you to lvl50 cap for your weapon, you can still skillup on em during an actual campaign as long as you dont get tags. Before you woulddn't get aggro from any mobs, not sure about now

I don't see any signs of us taking back an area. ; ; I keep seeing Yags bringing supplies to West Saru, and their fortifications going up. >.< Time to spend Thursday bombing the place!

Sandy looks in a good position to take back most of their areas =).

It lot easier to get them back then it is to keep them.

Actually I'll revise what I said earlier about Whm's getting low scores unless they melee, I wanted to regain some lost exp on my 75 Whm last night so I went to the defence of Bastok Markets.

Now I did not melee, all I did was cure players and Npc's (Divine Seal Cure V 1665 hp regained on one Galka npc and his lifebar still didnt fill up lol) and raised fallen players and buffed/hasted a few, after awhile I went to evaluation and I had 985 exp already.

I ended up getting a further 600 exp by battles conclusion, so really if there is a healing limit for points I must have passed it, or they changed how you gain exp in campaign cause I didnt swing my club or staff once.

Seems to me the mobs themselves are not actually stronger...

Seems more like we're 0/# on everything we possibly could, and because of that, our NPCs are weak, we have no items, and the mobs become god mod due to ridiculous high moral.

Thus, if we can try and focus on one city at a time, like windurst, it may work.

I'm currently bumrushing my dancer to his AF gear, then I'll come in and lend a helping hand via raping yagudo in oz. If we can drop their moral enough it may make the mobs less strong, then we can focus on fortifying and making a return, before we get our asses truly handed to us on a platter.

We're on the precipice of loosing the crystal wars before they even really started you guys. =o

the mobs were stronger the week the patch came out (so there was a duration before the tally came around and we lost all the areas) Havent really noticed npc's getting weaker, then again ive filtered all their dmg cause it just destroys my combat log. Also noticed that NPC's seem to "hunt" out remaining mobs during city campaigns, followed Kurt halfway around bastok markets to a corner where someone was soloing.

oh there weaker no doubt shadowhorn completely slaughtered a regiment of taru and elven soldiers the day after the update

Maybe someone can clarify something since I am still new to campaigning...

With the healing cap (and various other caps).. when you turn in your tag and get an assessment and then get a new tag, does said healing cap start over? Or is it the accumulative exp that starts over with a new tag?

Lately I have been going to campaigns on ninja since my WHM exp is capped and its very cheap ninja exp, and its at like lvl 62.. rarely do i miss on fortifications but I do tend to have trouble hitting some of the other mobs. If I dont miss I tend to hit for 0.. so.. I'd recommend melee skill around or above that unless you stick to forts.

When I go as ninja though, I dont expect raises or heals from other people (*unless I am partied with someone who is going to be there to help me out). But, I do get a fair amount of resses and heals which I appreciate. Where as it might be a group effort, its a lot more soloish than say a Dyanmis where you would expect a mage to heal you.

An idea that a buddy of mine had that I also supported was the idea of a campaign style linkshell. Not a shell with the commitment lvl as say an end game one, but where if you are doign campaigns hop on and actually work as a group. I think until something like that is orchestrated its really going to be every man for himself.
