Oh, yeah, that's why the PSP is outselling the DS on a month to month basis outside of Japan?
Maybe because... the people that already have a DS are finally getting around to getting a PSP?
That'd be like saying "Yeah, the PSP is outselling the GBA!"
Yeah.. exactly
who doesn't have atleast one incarnation of the GBA?

Zelda, Mario...
and I love how you throw that picture around, Dirgesong because people are "sheep" because they don't like the Nintendo systems or how Nintendo does things?
By the way.. I believe the only reason they changed the PS3's controller from the PS2 was because of some lawsuit someone had claiming that sony stole their controller design (this is something I heard.. not sure if it's fact).
All these Nintendo fanboys/girls are sure set on thinking Nintendo is god despite the lack of good games it has to back it up (Note: the fact I say it lacks good games is my own opinion about the games it has. Anyways, how could it possibly have any good games since so many are just spin offs, repeats of the same character, music, world, and virtually the same story.)
Go back to playing your 10 Final Fantasy games that are exactly the same since day one kekekekeke. ^^ X-2 was different, I'll give it that. But well, look how great it did from breaking out of the monotony. :?
Never post in a thread about games calling people fanboys, when you've proven yourself to be the biggest hypocritical fan of them all, anymore.
The
only two main Zelda games that can be considered the same are the first, and A Link to the Past. Every other one has done something different with the gameplay. Legend of Zelda II had side-scrolling Dungeons. Ocarina of Time broke into 3-D environments, and Wind Waker wasn't even in Hyrule, as well as changed transportation.

PS2, though it also has games with more and more additions to the series like FF, Suikoden, Wild Arms, Metal Gear Solid, Grand Theft Auto, Star Ocean, etc, always the games have NEW CHARACTERS an over all NEW plot or if it's a sequal like Suikoden or Metal Gear Solid it continues developing the story and the world of those games. Then they have various good racing games like Need For Speed. Now those games I never do like cause there spin offs aren't anything more than new tracks, some different cars, and different graphis with maybe new music. Then PS2 also has great first person shooters like Deus Ex (X-Box has it too), Call of Duty (also across many systems), Socom, etc. The PS2 has far more games to its name and many many many more good ones. FF might be up to the 12th now with others but EVERY FF is different. Every FF has new characters, new worlds, new music (other than 1 or 2 tracks), new graphics and a fairly new gameplay. The only thing really the same are a few names in it... that's it. PS2 also has AMAZING original games like Disgaea, Phantom Brave, Xenogears/Xenosaga(not so much Saga since it's more a movie >.>).
What exactly aren't you getting? Every FF
is the same. Characters and Story, regardless of change, if the system is the same(and it has been for 20 years,)
it's still the same game. Thats why I like 11. It's entirely different. Story, Characters,
Battle System.
If Characters and Story where majority of the Final Fantasy games points, i'd agree. But they aren't. The Gameplay is the same as it has been since 1. It relies solely on the battle and world systems, which has remained fairly untouched for two decades.
Nintendo tends to reuse Zelda and Mario beyond all belief to bring sales up and keep people happy.
And unlike Final Fantasy, the characters remain the same, but the overall gameplay is entirely different. You lose.
And why do you not like to realize the facts of sales status? Outside of Japan.. Nintendo gets pwned by Sony and Microsoft.. guess why? Because sony and x-box (atleast sony) have a more variety of games.
More doesn't necessarily mean great. 150 titles with 10 good titles, is still the same as 30 titles with 10 good titles.
You're the biggest fanboy in this thread, Elemmire. And also the most blind by your preference.

Um, what?
Not failure in the sense that it was bad, just that it didn't do what Nintendo wanted it to do: cut Sony out of the market.
