how about you nintendo fanboy jackasses realize that Nintendo isn't doing anything new.. just better technology with the controller idea.. kthxbai!
See, this is the problem. Most people
(i.e. ignorant jackasses like yourself) don't even stop to think about the difference between invention and innovation. So, instead of being an internet superstar and responding with 'omg lmao' to your weak rebuttal like I had intended, it's time for a condescending lesson:
Invention is, clearly, the materialization or application of a new idea. A utility or implement that no one has ever concieved before. If you've seen Back to the Future, you'll recognize any of Doc Brown's fantastic toys as inventions: A motley assortment of awkward and haphazard gadgets that do wonderful things.
To innovate an invention, something Doc Brown didn't appear to be capable of, considering he's still the only one with a Flux Capacitor in the year 2015, is to find a practical application of that invention that can be widespread throughout the masses.
For example, it's a common error to credit the Irish for inventing that most popular stout, Guinness. It was the Welsh who invented it. (Sorry to all you proud Irish!) The Irish, in a sense, innovated Guinness by, well, drinking it, and brewing/distributing it in mass quantities.
The point is, we
Nintendo Fanboys are fully aware that the ideas behind Revolution are not a brand spanking new, choice of a new generation, feelgood sensation of the year. Gyroscopic sensors and all those clicks and whistles have been around for a long time. However, the chances that you have experienced the use of such applications in a positive, practical light is pretty damn slim unless you've played Laser Tag at NASAs training facility.
What we're looking forward to in the Revolution is based on the reputation of Nintendo for making almost anything
fun in ways we'd never thought. We're looking forward to an affordable, unique experience that most people would otherwise never have the chance to enjoy.
Nothing you can say is going to change our mind. No matter how many hilarious web comics you direct us to or how many other people's ideas you steal, your opinion isn't
that important to us. If it's not what you're looking for, fine. Say so, sit down, and shut the fuck up. Thanks for fucking up another thread, troll.
