The Help Kelyon Thread because he needs his own thread.

Another update: Well, i am back at school. I am so glad to be back and out of that house. A lot kinda went down since the last time i posted. Here is the biggest thing that pissed me off. It was my sister Kirby's birthday and my eldest sister Lindsay came for dinner. Well, while i was doing something my mom found a need to tell Lindsay that i was gay, without consulting me first. I mean fucking seriously, that is pretty low. BTW my sister Lindsay was a drama major so she was COMPLEYLY fine with it and actually said that she was happy for me.

The second thing. This summer my mom was giving me the impression that she wanted me to live with my sister lindsay. She just got a new house and there is a small apartment in the upper part away from the house. I would not mind this at all. I can have parties, my boyfriend could come whenever and yeah.

Anywho, my friend adam who is like a brother is just helping a lot. He made me realize that she is the only one with a real problem now. Like my dad is still upset but he does not express it to me because he knows it wont do any good.

I will tell more later just wanted to give a small up date.

And yes Romper my mom is a bitch at the moment.

Update: I have been kicked out of my house for spring break and summer. I am going to be living with my sister. My mother told me she didn't want to see me. I also broke up with my boyfriend. Fuck i hate this shit.

I thought your Dad wasn't going to let that happen? Did he take sides with your Mom? I find it strange that parents want the best for their kids, however under the preconceived notion that it will parallel the wants and needs of the parent.

As someone who failed to get along with the one parent that brought me up, I can understand the angst you feel when they don't seem to understand you or what you're feeling. Granted, I wasn't in the same situation, however, parents everywhere misunderstand and ostracize their kids all the time for reasons that just don't make sense and therein lies our similarity.

I hope you have a great time living with your sister, away from all the negativity that your parents bring to your life. Who knows? Maybe one day they'll get over themselves.

One day you will be mine.

Update: Parents moved all my shit out of the house. Guess this is real.

You wish you could have my white body.

And that sucks Kel, oh well least you have a place with your sister.

I can't even speak to your dad's motives; I think your mother's motives are clear. I can only wonder if currently you are pushing your family too hard with this knowledge. It would be great if they understood straight from the get-go. Though, just as other's have pointed out -- you gotta remember when the realization hit you, and how long it took to accept. Your mom will need to go through the same thing.

If you've been talking with your dad, maybe he feels if you get out of the house, it will help. I can only say, living on your own is liberating. This is just speculation because, sadly, your dad could have had a change of heart. It is possible if this whole thing has been stressing out your family.

Just hang in there and try your best to relax. If your mother calls, talk to her. If it hurts too much, just tell her. Definitely though, the quickest way to feel like you belong is to do your best to help her.

Can't really think of what else to say. Good luck with it all.

Dad said that i was causing to many problems in the house.

I feel so alone and abandoned. Keep on movin i guess. That is all i can do. The worst part is. The person that i want to be with, i can't.

Ok... first off i havent really read the thread because honestly they are your problems and imo it is not my place to know or understand them and pass judgment on how you should live your life.

Now... with this being said i believe that what you really need to do is whatever makes you happy. Remember you were not brought into this world to make your parents happy... you are here to have a wonderful series of experiences. Right now with your family from what it seems to me you are leaning almost to the suicidal state which is insane. If you truly want to be happy again the key is not to try and make other people happy and live for yourself. As sad as this quote is i think it rings true in this situation... In Van Wilder he states, "Dont take life to seriously, you'll never get out alive."

What i mean by this is live for yourself not others. Do what you want and with who you want to and live with a smile. With that... you cant go wrong. If your parents dont come around over time... Fuck em they dont deserve you. Stick with the positive people and purge yourself of the negative people. Best thing you can do is get a job, live the life you want and prove your independence from them. I expect they will come around.

Simple solutions:

1.) Stop thinking. You seem to be putting too much thought into everything. Try to take things one at a time. And don't even think about offing yourself.

2.) While your mother may have been a bitch, I really don't think the comments of "nice parenting" and such were helping the matter at all. Try not to make things worst with comments like that.

3.) Easy way to get your mother to love you again is simple. If you get a hold of her, the best thing to say is "The thing I'm most afraid of in my life right now is losing your love". It works, I've used it plenty of times. You can't force these things on people. If they can't accept it at first keep enforcing the fact that you still want their love. That way, they will only thing about loving you and not shunning you.

Alone:

How do you fight the feeling you of being alone. I tell people how i feel, i tell them how alone i feel, how worthless, blah blah bah. They just counter it by saying "We are here you are not worthless" That shit never helps don't say that to me. I just don't know how to fix this ache. I look at my ex and i just get stomach turned angry sad depressed. I miss him terribly, yet i know it will never work with us. We tried it twice, never lasted.

How do you stop the feeling of being alone.

Try something new that's out of your comfort zone or normal routine if the normal routine makes you feel alone?

You will never be able to fully ever stop the feeling of being alone. All you can do is just try to think of things that will make you happy. Good times, good friends, good music, doesn't matter what it is just try not to think about the feeling of being alone and then it doesn't seem so bad.

I've known what it feels like to be alone and I kinda understand that feeling of depression you get when you look for someone to help you out and find nobody to really be there even though like you mentioned before they say they are there for you.

Just hang in there. Sooner or later you are going to find that special something that's going to make days and nights like this not seem so bad. You just have to make it through your day and nights knowing that the next day is going to be better.

Think positively and just put yourself in that right frame of mind and then things won't be so bad.

Hope that helps

:)

I know when I read a book, I forget about real world debts. It can help. Maybe?

How do you stop the feeling of being alone.

You will not stop feeling alone until you are happy with yourself, as a person. Not who you were, who you will be, but who you are now. If you can accept yourself and love yourself the world will seems a little less lonely.

I felt less alone in the world by knowing that there is someone out there that really does love me for who I am and I love them too, even though I might not have met them yet. It is my firm belief that there is someone for everyone, they just have to make an effort to look for them. A spouse does not necessarily make you happy, sometimes they can make you feel worst than if you were by yourself. Your best bet is to find what truly makes you happy, even if it takes years to do.

Eck, it's 5 in the morning, that's all I got. Sorry about the gibberish. >_<

Another question from Kelyon.

How do you get over an ex? For the past two weeks all i can think about is my ex. May it be me lying in bed, taking a shower, eating food whatever. I just think about him all the time. A good friend of mine told me the best thing to do is move on and get another person. He already moved on and i think that is hurting me even more. I just find myself so helpless to the fact. I end up calling him at 2am just wanting to hear him, even him panting on the phone.

I don't know if i miss him, or what i recieved when i was with him. Just the care of another that isn't a parent or sibling. The feeling of being wanting. I don't know if i miss him or, like i said, what he was able to do for me. I feel as if i still love him.

How do you guys get over a relationship.

This may seem a bit odd.

Quite some time ago I had the same situation you have. My fiance and I had broken up about 8 months before we were due to get hitched (in hindsight, awesome thing, but still). My sister watched as I was just a complete wreck. She finally sat me down and said: Look, I know this hurts more than anything you've ever experienced. I know how much you feel that life sucks. However, you're not going to get anywhere being like this all the time. You need to give yourself 3 days, to be a complete sobbing, stupid fool. On the fourth day, you're done. That's it, end of story. Let it all out for three days and then you're over.

I thought she was nuts, but I tried it anyways. It worked. It really honestly did. You just have to face yourself and say 'Yes, this fucking blows, but you can't just wallow in this pity and sadness, or you'll get stuck in it'. So, wallow it up for 3 days and then move along. If you dont, you'll only stay where you are.

I can try that. But three days is hard for me. Being in college i have a lot of things that are going on. I don't know if i would be able. Thanks for the advice though.

someone you truly care for is always hard to get over, the only thing that will heal it is time
