THE OFFICIAL 2009 FOOTBALL SEASON SMACK TALKING THREAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

lets just hope that preseason leg time that our 2nd and 3rd strings got was worth it. Greg's formations seem to be good, we just have to make sure our players can complete their tasks.

You guys ready!!!

Let's go Saints! WHO DAT??!?!?!

DAMN IT OFFENSIVE HOLDING!!!!!!! the club record was set to be broken. :P

i'll say this. the lions are a much better team then they were last year.......but they still suck, hahahahaha.

We gave them 14 pts.

Reggie Bush muffed punt, Mike Bell fumble, and Drew Bree's interception. Our special teams were awful...there offense got what? 220 total yds lol.

Drew Bree's got me 56 points in one of my fantasy leagues.. hehe

yeah special teams sucked today, but i still give Detroit credit. seems their hard work payed off.

The Redskins screwed me over with horrible play calling... oh well Portis...maybe next week

ditto to major brees points. but, to add to that...i also have peterson in that same league. i got over 110 points just from those 2 players

This thread is mighty quiet this week lol

Detroit Sucks. Sorry. Don't let the points fool you, they had trouble moving the ball on offense (Stafford had big problems hitting targets) and their defense would have trouble stopping most college teams. As a life long Lions fan, I do hope they get better as the season rolls on.

Where is everyone? lol

Anyway, Bree's is doing what he does!

This is what many nay sayers were blaming the crushing win the saints got over the lions on. but seeing as how we crushed the eagles' in pretty much the same way, we can safely say week 1 was no fluke.

GMEN!

EDIT: I wanted to add how stupid i think the commentators were last night during the Gmen game. I know they need to say this stuff but geeeeeeeeeeez... I dont know which guy it was but he said something like.

"Without those 2 bad passes from Romo tonight this game is kinda one sided eh?" Meaning the Cowgirls were soooo much better..

I just found it funny.. lol.

Oh come on. You know the Giants wouldn't of done so well if it wasn't for that bad interception and that bounce off his foot bullshit.

I rarely trash talk so I'ma say that the Giants won fair and square and it was a good game, but if it wasn't for the Cowboys many mistakes, the score would of been different.

Eli had a good game, but lets be real, the Giants should have won by ALOT more then they did with Romo throwing 3 INT.

The Giants defense was like Swiss cheese last night, allowing more then 250 rushing yards. The Giants have yet to record a sack as well. I believe they stole that win BUT it's the NFL and a win is a win and good teams find a way to win, so I'm not taking much from them.

Blah blah blah the giants won, all the mistakes are part of the game. If the cowboys were a BETTER team (Yesterday), they wouldntve made the mistakes. Simple as that.

This is exactly what i am saying. Its bullshit to say the game would have been one sided without the 2 bad passes... Romo made those bad passes and they are part of the game lmao.

Its just like me saying boy this game would have been one sided if we were not horrible yesterday in the redzone... Wtf.

Trust me, what I said was not an indictment on what I thought of the Saints, so much as what I think of the Lions D (I am a Lions fan btw). I really like the saints and I have felt for a very long time that Brees is very much underated. I remember back when the Falcons traded up with San D to get Vick. San Diego used those picks to get LT and Brees and I thought that was the steal of the draft at the time and most definitely now.

I was more annoyed at the constant mistakes by the commentators on the san diego vs baltimore game.

They couldn't get the players names right.. all through the fourth quarter they were mistaking people for other people, once even on another team

First of all, ATL is still AMAZING.... <3 our new TE, and gotta love Matt.

Did anyone else see the refs hugging in the Titans game, that game was all gayed up is was fucking awful!!!! Watched the games at Aldiel's house, <3 Dvr, makes seeing the two games i wanted to see much easier.
