I have said it time and time again, get the fuck out of jeuno on your gimped LFG DRG or MNK and go farm, yet looks like you don't have to do that now since SE is once again handing more tools for you to become successful. Seriously pathetic.

But in the end it does not matter, you could start the successful people over on a level 1 character with nothing but an adventurers certificate and a dagger and in a month he would probably have more gil than most of you just through the ability and know how.

I can't wait to see how much of you actually have bounding boots, empress pin, or peacock amulet in a month. I am willing to bet none of you still. Because you are too fucking lazy.

Last i looked meeze got told how it was by all but 1 other posted to piss off with the attitude about the thread in general.

While i do agree with part of that statement (being a monk affords alot of downtime as does drg so i learned to adapt and go make money) per usual i gotta wonder if you got a blood vessel popping in your eye over a video game and people's POVs about it...

it had nothing to do with revenge, i'dve posted the same thing if it had been other any name. I do have better things to do with my time than stalk people from thread to thread, however i caught this one a page in and it parralells another thread that i had contributed to. Anyway, if you'd like to see what civil conversation looks like about the rng nerf check the other thread "it's official: rng got nerfed" or whatever, where strid's at, he's alot more fun to talk to. You just keep getting your feelings hurt :oops:
 
I think the people happiest with the ranged attack nerf are the other melee jobs who DO go out there and work their asses off for the best.

I'd need an Excel spreadsheet to track the number of times where my Monk, despite having nearly every 'uber' piece available, would have my flag up while random shitty gimpy Ranger 2-3 levels below me saddled a chocobo and headed off to party. I know multiple Rangers I leveled with in the Jungles that were out mashing Maat while I was still slogging through Quicksand Caves and the Nest. It seemed less like a passionate job and more a meal ticket to 75. Hell, given enough seed money you could probably get RNG to 75 in less than 45 days.

Now, the playing field is a bit more level. No more will 4-5 people sit in a party, with other melee seeking while the leader demands a RNG. No more running to a spot, passing a RNG with their flag up, and having people say "Oh, that's the AFK RNG, too bad we didn't get him instead." No more prima donna Rangers demanding 6k+/hr from a pickup party or they'll disband/warp without warning - if they don't have 'cannon pt onry' in their comment.

Yes, Rangers pay more per party. But that's what you agreed to when you took up the job. If you don't like the cost, level Woodworking and Alchemy or quit the job. And to be honest, I'd be happy with having to buy/synth some arrows when I've basically paid for all my endgame gear by about 52.

And a good one at that. If all of a sudden my H2H combat had to be unarmed i'd be pissed, which is as close a comparison as i can get to my current job. They should have given you some sort of ability to either ignore range for a certain ammount of time (i.e. focus or whatever) or added something to lose enmity on hits made (i.e. subtle blow for enmity)
