“You have finally made all of your powers one power,” the galka said weakly.
“You have redeemed your world within this place,” the hume said.
“But do not celebrate, for the words of the dark gods were correct, for we have seen it in their minds,” the galka said.
“The dark one has gathered his army, and he will still need to be defeated before all the lands of light will truly be safe,” the hume added.
“The road to Theallis will open for you, and the lands of light will need your help to defeat the evil one,” the galka said.
“There is more to the prophecy than the redeeming of this realm, and now that is has been redeemed, the Dark Lord Galroth will prepare for your arrival in the lands of Theallis,” the hume said.
“Am I the one destined to defeat Galroth?” Aaleel asked weakly.
“All that is said is that one wields the sword of light will seek to redeem those of their lands, and upon the day of redemption the chosen one will travel to lands yet seen, where the fate of all worlds will be decided,” the hume replied.
“So by your victory or by your death, all things will now be decided,” the hume added before their bodies began to break in spheres of white light.
“Wait, how do we get to Theallis?” Aaleel asked holding out her hand.
“The way will reveal itself to you when you are truly ready,” the hume said, as the two bodies passed shattered in spheres of light and floated away.
“What is going on,” Kerowynn said, as the wind within the aery became violent, and began to swirl about. It created a swirling vortex of wind, and through it the company could see the image of the Dragon’s Aery of their land.
“Help Aaleel,” Duncanrun said, as Aaleel leaned heavily on Nikoloi and Jimm, as they slowly walked back towards their world. Aaleel could not believe it true as her feet stepped upon the grass of the Dragon’s Aery, and the looked around at the green trees, and rolling grass. The vortex slammed shut as the last of the Elite stepped back into Vana’diel, and all the Elite collapsed upon the ground, exhausted from their ordeal in the dark realm.
“I cannot believe that it is over,” Kerowynn said.
“Nor can I,” Nikoloi replied.
“What shall we do until we are shown the way to Theallis?” Jimm asked.
“You all will return to the Guild of the Elite, but there are things that I must do, questions that I must have answered,” Aaleel said.
“What are those Aal?” Sanborn asked.
“I have many questions about this prophecy and this blade, and there is only one place that I will find the answers I seek,” she replied.
“You seek to return to the Far East, and seek answers in the temple,” Unphazed said, as Aaleel nodded her head.
“That is not a wise idea Aal, for if what the priests said is true, I think it best that you are kept hidden and safe until the way to Theallis is shown to us,” Nocturnus said.
“I will not hide Nocturnus,” Aaleel snapped back.
“Nor will I travel to the new lands not knowing why after trusting those of Theallis enough to accept this task, that so much was intentionally hidden from me,” she added standing to her feet.
“I will not walk blindly once again,” Aaleel said looking upon the blade of Syuji.
“Then at least let us come with you,” Nocturnus said.
“No, I must do this alone, you will remain at the guild,” she replied.
“You do not have a choice Aaleel, we are coming with you, or you are not going,” Nocturnus said, as Aaleel sighed loudly.
“Very well then,” she said.
“Good, now shall we return to Bastok to recover?” Nikoloi asked, as the mages began to cast spells of teleportation, and the company of the Elite disappeared.
