What the fuck is so awesome about taking shit that doesn't belong to you?

Between Thursday night and Friday morning my DS was jacked out of my car. Nothing else was stolen.

Just... what the fuck man... I saved up for the limited edition Zelda one only to have it jacked one night...

I ever see anybody walking around my apt with that thing, they will bite a curb.

Kel, I hate that clip from that film...

I'll make sure to video tape my own version should I see anybody touch my car.

And that's what I was referring to kel

I will hold the fucking camera man. I have had my laptop, ipod and cellphone stolen when some...minority broke into my fucking car. I was pissed. I got my shit back though because my phone had GPS on it.

Last January:

iPod video 30gb
Digital Camera
Stereo
Cash from the night before at work. (server's book)
And a slashed window.

I've got a Jeep Wrangler, so I think it's time to invest in something that has actual windows. It always happens that I'll accidentally slip up and leave something in there and it gets stolen, but I could leave all my windows off though and nothing will get stolen.

FUCKING WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love that movie, and that's like the best scene. And props(for lack of a better word  ) to drew for referencing it.

Free shit, duh. Taking shit that doesn't belong to you is awesome. You get big reward for very little work. I used to steal shit all the time, until I got busted the one time I wasn't stealing anything(God that was stupid....). And I'll never do it as often as I did before, because no matter how good you are, if you do it long enough, you will eventually get caught. I haven't stolen anything in over a year and a half, and I don't plan on doing it again anytime soon, but you better believe that if I saw an opportunity like that guy had, I would jump on it.

Let this be a lesson to you, never leave anything of value in your car overnight or for any length of time, or you're just asking for someone to steal it. That's my policy - if you're dumb enough to leave something like that in your car, you don't deserve to have it. If I'm smart enough to take it from you without getting caught, I do. Sorry, but that's how the world works. Gotta protect what's yours or someone's gonna take it from you.

Seriously....this is your own fault. You really should have known better by now lol

Thank you for the props and it is the best scene, but seriously, regarding the paragraph after that..

Do you not see anything morally wrong with that?

I know it's my fault and that's what is irking me so bad, cause I had a slight lapse in judgement and forgot it was in my car. Most of the time my jeep is spotless of any value. I'm just tired of the way people think, that they don't have to earn their shit like everybody else.

Wish I could find a picture of the vehicle mod the guy in Africa did that when you tried to break in a steel bar would spring out and bust your shins in half.

Fuck that, the Russians developed a car alarm that blows the car up if anyone attempts to tamper with it. If you're gonna stop a thief, do it with some gonads.

I'd much rather come back to a sulking heap of human stupidity bleeding to death and in shock from the leg fractures so I can wake them up just so they can watch themselves be run over repeatedly.

Just as brutal if not more, and my insurance doesn't go up.

People have been taking other peoples stuff since the beginning of time. Even Moses was like "lol g0d s4id n0 st33linz"

As a person who just recently had my window smashed and some gear stolen. The best thing I can say is:

Atleast your car was still there the next morning.

Shake your head and go on about your day.

I have full-loss prevention on my car, I WISH someone would take the whole thing. I can't claim a DS but I can sure as hell claim the car. I also refuse to accept the whole "it's been going on forever, so whatever" mentality.

Sorry to hear that though about your stuff :\. What all got jacked?

I fear the responses coming from this, but I'll post it anyways >.>...

Somebody has played a very very cruel prank.

The file folder box underneath your desk... yes.. this is the place you keep your DS right? One of my friends or my roommate is going to get it, and I mean GET IT, for the rest of the year.

(In case anyone missed that, it was in the fucking filing box... and I still hate thieves with a passion.)

hmmmm......

Well, the Bible does tell me not to steal. And I do hate it when people steal from me....but on the other hand....I also like free shit.

Actually, it depends on who you're stealing from. If that person has stolen from lots of other people, then I don't think it's that bad. That's just justice, that person is getting what they had comin to em. If it's stealing from a big greedy corporation(like, say, Wal-Mart), I don't think it's wrong at all, since they rip people off every single fuckin day and make millions and millions of dollars a year doin it.
If you're stealing from a good person who's never stolen a thing in his life, then that is kind of fucked up. The thing about carhopping though, is that you don't know who you're stealing from. I guess it's kind of like playing roulette with your morals. I would still steal a DS from the back of a car with open windows though, that's just a no brainer.

Bad justification is bad. You're not hurting just Wal-Mart stealing from Wal-Mart. You're hurting product manufacturers and their employees as well, since the less money a retailer has, the less they can stock up your stuff to sell. You seriously are one stupid kid.

What's your view on stealing doughnuts?

And I would still chase you down and savagely beat you for doing so.

Thievery of any kind is low. While my own policy is to leave nothing worth stealing visible to outside observers in any situation, frankly, thieves just plain upset me.

Thankfully most property laws allow for "reasonable levels of force" in retaining your possessions. So while you generally can't shoot someone unless they're presenting a significant threat, you can beat them until they relinquish your property, and maybe a little extra that the cops won't bother to report.

I've been to a court ordered theft class, so believe me when I say that I've heard every argument you could possibly throw at me about how "stealing hurts everyone". Bullshit. I seriously doubt me shoving $20 worth of stuff into my pockets is gonna cause a supply shortage on the shelves because I've bankrupted them. Bottom line is, at the end of the day, all those companies still made millions of dollars by selling something that costs 5 cents to make for 2 dollars. Who's stealing from who now?

And I didn't steal that damn doughnut. If I had, I would have never brought it up on qcdn. I also don't lie about stealing on the fuckin internet, if I had stole it, I would have just said that. There's no reason to hide it. You seriously are one fuckin asshole for constantly bringing that up every chance you get. Actually, asshole is the wrong word, you're just retarded.

And I would still chase you down and savagely beat you for doing so.
I would welcome you to try. And if you somehow succeeded I wouldn't hold a grudge against you. I would do the same thing if I saw someone trying to steal something of mine. Stealing things is always a risk.

That's cool. Tell your friends they spawned a good discussion on the internet. Glad you still have it though.
