This is what gets me. Why the fuck are you so headstrong about telling people to not care, when you obviously care so much you had to make like 3 posts about it, Uzor?

Why is it that people who "don't care" or don't think others should care, keep show that they obviously care to some extent? I don't get it. If you promote not caring, why do you care to promote it? Do you see the hypocrisy here?

As for the OP, this stuff you could have prolly asked without reposting the list itself immediately. Hell, I actually still had the website that list was originally posted on, linked for amusement (though going to it now, the information is gone). And from the sounds of it, you kinda put yourself out there. Anyhow, good luck I guess lol

I didn't make 3 posts about not caring about reputation because I care. The first one I made was a question as well as a statement.

The second post was the point I was getting to. That if he cared so much about his reputation it was a stupid decision to join the shell in the first place. The third one was in response to Myrrh, whom I assumed spoke to me.

No where in those posts am I hypocritical in my statement about not caring. And you know what? Had I cared about my reputation I would at least attempt to not insult people every chance I get, nor so openly share my opinions even though I know the majority probably do not agree.
 
Oh, correction and clarification. The third one was the point, sorry. Forgot about the second. And the clarification is that I do actually care about reputation, but I don't care if its god or bad. Bad reputation is still reputation.
 
Call it cowardly if you wish, but I'd rather not explain the recent events in public. I've got no reason to post it all over here just to get it picked apart by people who have something against me, like Jyak.

tbh, I wouldn't call it cowardly. I'd say it takes more courage to eat the shit that might commence by not explaining yourself then to explain yourself in an attempt to defend yourself, even if it means defending yourself afterwards.

I agree with this statement. It would fix a lot of problems in my eyes.


I think people need to realize what the major difference between endgame shells is. The statement: "Every shell has bots." Is an easy one to make, because its difficult to deny without looking like an idiot. The difference comes in some linkshells telling their members not to, and other shells saying "well other shells bot, so we may as well all be botting."

You can't control everything that your members do all the time, but please don't try to justify telling them to run bots by saying some other shell does it.

Also, Salvage sucks, PUP sucks.

Maybe not, but it sure as hell affects alot of the people who decide to help you, LSs you can possibly join, or hell...the people you get from pickup PTs.

Reputation is good to have, but not the "Hey man, I'm so cool everyone likes me" reputation. Best Reputation is no real reputation, no one knows you, no one really dislikes you, no one really likes you either. Just neutral.

That way, you are just the "Yeah he a so so person pretty cool, maybe edgy at times" kinda person.

Now for people that I dare not mention...ruined rep so bad on several occasions...those people have the hardest time enjoying this game, and are rather more...pissed off at the game than enjoying it anymore because of simple things they've done/said that could of easily been prevented.

Most these occurrences happen due to greed or self arrogance.
 
I'm not for/against PP.. however why post against people bringing back old info when you know it's just going to cause people who like to talk shit about others post?
'I don't want it to go in a flameboard' is just bull shit and you know it, you're tired of people ratting on you and think people should talk abou someone else who was talked about like 2 years ago.

It really doesn't. Sure, you might not be able to join ALL shells, but there will always be shells that don't mind. If you're a hardcore botter who every legit player hates, there will always be a shell that bots and welcomes you. And for sake of argument, let's assume no shell wants you. Either that or you start your own shell. People really aren't all that hard to manipulate if it comes down to it.

And no, I can't shut up :p As I said before, I like expressing my opinion, even if people don't like it. You can tell me to shut up all you want, but it really will get you nowhere :nyam:
