This is why teenagers don't run economies

Everyone is sitting back all awkward wondering why the **** you're not backing down from the claim that 10% meleeing accuracy can be beaten by 1 strength point, ESPECIALLY over an extended period of time. People would rip you to shreds if you made that comment alone. Since you're against me, they'll leave you alone for saying something so stupid. I won't give you that luxury. Catch the error in your parse data. There is something VERY different between you and him if you are beating him with a 10% acc deficit. I'm talking 90 extra attack. Something HUGE. If you won't back down and check your error, you're a liar. Only other conclusion, because either way you are incorrect.

Can you read? We both had double minuet and berserk.

90 extra attack would do nothing at that point.

I scored a 35 on the reading comprehension section of the ACT. Catch your error and find the real difference between him and you. It was not simply 1 strength point and everyone else knows it. They just don't want to tell you.

Obviously you cheated or you forgot how to read, because if you were paying attention, you'd have seen that Skaw mentioned this game works on a RANGE, several times in fact. Each attack has a range of damage it can do, and STR affects the limits of that range. Maybe Makzilla had an off night, and was hitting at the bottom of that range often, while Skaw was hitting near the top just as often. At that point, Skaw is doing a significantly larger amount of melee damage, and the accuracy is only bringing up his damage to match Skaw's.

Since that's entirely plausible, Skaw's parser could have been working just fine. I wonder what you're going to say if Cubs can get the data posted, say that the parser is wrong, or that the data was tampered with, because it contradicts the "great" Peregrine?

just out of curosity or you both same race you might have said it but i dont want to go back though 22 pages to find it

I believe skaw is a Hume, and Makzilla is Elvaan.

Actually, I just thought of something else that would have contributed to Skaw's damage, Criticals. Since he'd likely have more dexterity than Makzilla, he'd get a couple more criticals, which as Peregrine has said, can double damage. That would lead to more damage with less accuracy, so that might have been a factor.

if that so then the test would be off due to there race stats would be diffent so skaw can be right not to sure on how much str deffer from elv and hum but race make a big diffences if they wearing same gear

Actually, skaw listed a different base STR for him and Makzilla, which means he did take the racial STR difference into account.

it kinda hard to test to diffent races because str not the only thing you have to worry about dex important even though they dont really bother about it for crit hit not sure if diffent classes have acc rate or not never thought about it. the mob they where fighting make a diffence to. that all im saying about that  this topic pretty much dead horse now

Or I outgun you, don't really care what you argued since it's flawed, and simply don't wish to address it. In addition to the reading comprehension of 35/36 on a national standardized test, I have also taken statistical analysis and data analysis 300-level courses--of which I have aced with ease. Each attack has a range, yes, but over time even the random fluctuation of almost any statistical data-taking becomes uniformly predictable. He parsed over a significant time, which is ultimately his downfall. Makzilla cannot have a "off night." All monks do is hit attack. Perhaps if you sampled 10 hits, the significance would be subject to fluctuation that you claim is "entirely plausible." However, that skaw claims to have 10% accuracy deficit over a HUGE amount of hits, and that he still claims that his meleeing was superior...it is not statistically possible for so many hits to be an aberration.

When your accuracy is 10% less than someone else's over more than 500 hits, I would make the call that all results have at least a 95% chance of being real...and not an aberration. Again, maybe if skaw parsed 15 hits then he could claim that range affected the data. Until then, no. So says statistical analysis methodology.

As such, no more talk about averages and rangers. With such a large sample size as skaw is claiming, any difference is not due to fluxuation and dice-rolling. Statistics takes into consideration all these, and tells you to drop that argument. It's the whole point of a freaking parse--to account for fluxuation.

You don't want to go down this road. This belongs to me. If skaw beat another meleer AT MELEEING that has 10% more acc than he does, and the only difference you can come up with is 1 lousy strength and maybe dexterity...
...
...see it coming?
...
You paid 1.3 million gil for 1 strength when you should have bought a fluorite ring for 5k. Durrrrrrrrrrrruhoh.

i would not go that far you also have to account for boost and other mnk ability which they did not account for so if Makzilla was missing her boost and like I said race plays a big factor and the mob they where faceing as well either way you look at it the test is invalid because to many variable.
mnk might be one the easyer to play jobs but they dont just push atk.

No where did I say the +1 STR lead to me ownz0ring him like you're causing yourself to believe, but rather that in every single nonskill hit, I did more damage. 80 damage over 1000 fights.

Ahahahahahahaaaaaa...you would pay 1.3 million gil to do 80 more damage over 1000 fights. There you go, ladies and gents. Game. Set. Match. Idiots. All yall are all up in the idiocy. Dude I hope that was a typo, because your jugular is severed if not and you all can go home. This one's over. You know, I wouldn't doubt that the difference between an amemet+1 wearer and a forager's wearer is 80 damage over 1000 fights.

Oh oh but darn. If you threw PEBBLES you'd do more than that over 100 fights! Go amemet!

before you run out to your doctor to have some ribs removed so you can suck your own dick think about something. Makzilla and Skaw are two pimped out MNKs. i don't know all their gear, but i would guess flames maybe the str zm earring, triumphs the top notch shit.

i want to see the parser of the gimp peregrine version of a mnk going up against skaw. ruby rings, minuet(if that) etc. gaurantee your gimp version will get its doors blown.

It doesn't matter what you care. This is the way things are, and we're not equals simply because we both have keyboards. You want equality? Log into the game where I'm your equal and treat everyone as such.

Pick the thief. Any day, any time. This is the third offer I've made you, you fucking coward.

Here's a cookie for all your tests, which are actually irrelevant to this whole thing.

You're writing off a statisical possibility because it doesn't agree with your point? You don't want to hear about the range, because it's that range that proves you wrong. Yes, you can have an "off night" because due to the range of damage that's possible, you can hit low more often than you hit high. You're also disregarding the downtime of berserk, as skaw mentioned. Since the accuracy isn't going to be a constant from fight to fight, he might have hit more when berserk was down.

Yes, I do want to go down the dexterity road, because you write off the whole thing because it doesn't help you. A hume has naturally more DEX than a Elvaan, which means they're more likely to critical. I never said, or even implied that Skaw was getting tons of criticals, but even getting a couple criticals a fight would add up fast. Since I don't know what weapons they were both using, Skaw could have had destroyers and Mak had something else, who knows? I've gotten 6 criticals in several fights before, so I can easily see Skaw getting several.

Dump your "holier than thou" attitude for a second and maybe you'd realize that you know shit about monks, or anything other than being a thf. Why don't you wait for the parser to get posted before just writing off the whole thing as impossible because you will it so. Until you actually get some kind of data to back you up, and not just what you think, then everything you're saying is an assumption which can EASILY be wrong.

If your reading comprehension had kicked in, you'd see he'd say your monk equivalent going against Skaw. Nothing about a thf going against you.
