1 strength point differential at level 75 is insignificantly parsable until you can prove me otherwise. You +1 whores on the forum are breaking the game's back with your stupidity, elitism, and gil-throwing. Amemet+1 is fine. Doesn't make you anything more than an amemet wearer. Then you morons go and fabricate an amemet+2 and call that "high standard." It's pathetic. You paid 1.3 million more to look like a prep when you're the same old meleer you ever were. Bunch of wannabe's who never-will-be what they claim they are...different and exceptional.

Or... we know how the game works. +1 STR is going to give you a percentage boots in damage proportional to the percent or STR is added.d applying them for yourself, right?
It's going to give you a hard number boost in minimum and maximum damage against a mob with comparable VIT.

This last post from you is causing me to give up arguing with you, since you just showed how ignorant you are in regards to how damage is handled. Continue to play your spike(and only spike) damage job, while everyone else can pull their weight in the PT and actually hurt the mob. Continue to ride the coat tails of people who do know how STR influences damage. Let them get your EXP for you, cause hey. It's easier than learning the mechanics of the game an
Thats all you've shown to me. GG.

Still waiting on your parser data that shows you out-melee someone with 10% more acc than you just by having one strength point. You don't have the first clue as to how the game works. That's pretty obvious.

Shut the hell up. What a meaningless comment. How much boost, dumbass? GG...strength boosts things. Wonderful commitment to an opinion.

LOL. I was there. I was the RDM in the PT. And yes, By Far Skaw was out damaging Makz. The Difference was very noticible. DOT was significant. To say +1 STR doesnt make a differenceis BS.

This is great. No one has the guts to agree with someone they don't like on this server. You all actually believe that 1 strength point would make skaw outdamage another monk "by far"? Fess up. What was the real difference between Skaw and this monk? I grow tired of your idiocy, because it was more than 1 strength. Come on. Think. Not even Bajaratt is stupid enough to claim that 1 strength will be anything but minimal, and yet skaw and this red mage are claiming that 1 strength allowed this monk to overcome 10% accuracy deficit.

Come on kids, tell the truth. Lying by omission will get you nowhere at this point. We all know you're lying.

Still waiting on my answers.

It has nothing to do with liking or disliking you. You are just wrong.

So alanon thinks that 1 extra strength on a meleeing set > 10% acc. K, who else is a self-admitted idiot?

How do you loose 10% acc on buying the Foragers mantle?

Peregrine give up. I am trying to help you now. It is sad to see someone so disassociated with reality. 26 pages of multiple people telling you that you are wrong, but yet you continue to call people out as morons and idiots with no base. If you are this stubborn in real life situations I feel very sorry for you.

Admit it was wrong to call a list of people you don't know idiots for buying an item.

Admit that +1 str is helpful regardless of cost.

Admit that you were wrong in assuming people's situation based on the purchase of a single backpiece item or (as in my case because I don't own it yet) defending the purchase of said backpiece.

If you willingly admit to the above statements I have provided then there is a slight possibility that you are not completely and hopelessly mentally warped. However, I can't guarantee that just about everyone that has read this thread will still not think you are an ignorant and arrogant ass.

The world is round. Hence, the world cannot be flat.

I do hereby claim that all other things being equal, 1 more strength on a meleeing set will parse more non-skillchain damage than having 10% more accuracy on a melee set.

Signed,
Alanon
Caerloc
Skaw
Eternalist

Anyone else?

I didnt sign that. I asked how getting that mantle would make you loose 10% acc. And you still havent answered my questions.

Dude, if you think +1 strength is noticeably helpful, it's you who is warped. Sad really that this bull has so many people sucked in and gripped. You spent hours of your life on 1 strength point, kids. I feel sorry for YOU.

Oh you signed it. Just too stupid to know you did. Since you're not on my train, and my train was saying that 1 strength will NOT beat 10% more accuracy in a meleeing set, you believe it does. You said so yourself right there. Plain as day.

Well for your info.
We were a 3 MNK PT.
The MNKs were Xion, Makzilla, Skaw
Per Mob, Yes, the DMG was Mininmal, but noticable. BUT... Our PT was Running up to Chain 10. Where the DMG became a lot more noticeable. I mean think of it this way, 100 extra damage per mob, that works out to 1000 extra dmg per chain. We ran for about 13-4 chains. How can you say that is insignificant? I dont have the parser data to prove it. But being there, and also playing a 75 MNK w/ Foragers now, over Amenmit+1 i know the differnce is huge. 13000-14000dmg is worth 1.3mil, which is chump change anyways.

Wait, how is someone saying an Amemet +1 has no advantage over a normal Amemet. >.>; If all it added extra was jsut +1 str then yes, but that's not the case.

Normal Amemet Mantel has +10 to attack and ranged attack (ranged attack doesnt really matter to me though, as a Drk) and a +1 to Str.

Amemet +1 has +15 to attack and ranged attack and +2 to str. While the +1 to str doesn't nessicarily have a huge impact, it's nice to have. But the additional +5 to attack is quite nice, and though it may not seem like much alone, added with the rest of the gear I have with + attack, it adds up quite nicely.

The +5 to attack and ranged attack is the whole reason people even buy it compared to the NQ the +1 str there as a nice little bonus.

I have to agree with Pere on this overall issue, buying a Forager's +1 just isn't nessicary when you can the same item -1 str (which makes little difference) for far less gil.

Wow, I did not know that the Amemet +1 had the hidden effect of +10% accuracy.

I was under the impression that this whole thread was based on the argument that you believe the +1 str that the Forager's Mantle provides does not warrant the 1million more in cost than the Amemet +1, and thereby making anyone who buys it an idiot, unoriginal, disassociated, lazy, and whatever else you said.

BTW if you want to settle this....
I will buy back an Amenmit+1. We can take a little trip, and test your theory. Get the parsers on and see how much this really adds up too.

Your train claims +1 str is worth nothing.
Your train claims its ok to pay 1,295,000 for the extra str
on amemit+1, but not the 1,000,000 for the another extra str
on foragers.
Your train claims by buying the foragers i loose 10% acc.
Your train claims that if you buy the Foragers mantle you cant
have good gear for capped events.

Thats the train your on.
And yes, im not jumping on that one.

Your advice is to buy a fluorite ring instead.
I have rings. Am i to put the fluorite ring in my
back piece slot?

Now please quote where i said that i believed +1 str would
parse more dmg then +1 str.

Im waiting.

O.o Now this I don't get, but maybe there's something buried in this thread I didn't bother to read. Where is this 10% accuracy coming from. It sure isn't the Amemet +1.
