She was born in Nova Scotia sure, but moved to Regina, and Calgary at a young age. Grew up out west.

... Kinda like an American language course for "y'all" and "ruff", "crick". Then again, I'd probably need a course on "eh" and "aboot" because I've never heard it used in any way other than mockery.

"eh" is mostly an Ontarian/Down East slang. I have many friends out west that state "eh" is not commonly used, usually when it is, it's used by someone who is from this side of our splendid country.
 
No one I know has ever said "eh" lol. I'd probably piss myself laughing at them if they did. Let me hear you talk on Vent Myrrh ;)

I say 'eh' quite abit too. I think it's hardwired into us. Plus it DOESN have a meaning ya'know.

'Eh' is the equivalent of saying 'right?' or 'you know?' after a sentence almost asking for one's agreement.. but not really wanting a response..... if that makes any sense lol.

I have actually heard "eh" used before, but it was by 1 dude wearing a plaid flanel shirt in Saskatchewan.

We don't say 'Don't Cha Know' though..but my girlfriend does do an awesome 'Boooobbeh, don't put your feet in the fridge you'll catch a death cold don't cha know' =D

I often say 'Zee' however, I always say 'Zed' when giving my postal code for instance. 'Zee' sounds like too many other letters.
