Ugh.. Baseball Depression. <Do you have it>

Sounds like someone is still mad about losing to the Yankees in '96.

Nah, I don't now nor did I then ever expect anything more than divisional titles from the Braves. There is just two teams I absolutly can't effin stand and that's the Astros and the Yankees. Has nothing to do with records or them beating teams I like and all to do with really having no reason other than not being big fans of their players.

The Braves usually are middle of the pack with starting pitching

Now yes, not even middle of the pack this year. The braves are totally sucking it up right along side everyone else this year and have for the past few as well. USUALLY, however, the Braves have one of the best pitching staffs in the game. You making this statement really makes me wonder how much you really know about pitching or baseball in general.

the Oakland Athletics who for the past I don't know 30 years have had priobably the best rotations put together along with a solid bullpen.

You must be from Oakland or I'm not catching the sarcasm, which is it ? :/

Hell the White Sox,even with poor performances lately via Mark Buehrle Javier Vazquez oh hell pretty much everyone but Bobby Jenks and Jon Garland pitching staff wise, still have a better rotation than the Braves. Who is your ace Tim Hudson right? Yea last I checked Hudson hasn't been all that spectacular, but looking back the NL does blow compared to the AL.

Going to agree with you here but I'm not sure where you are comming from. I never said the Braves pitching was even decent this year. As far as I'm concerned the only good pitcher they have is Smoltz as of now. The Braves need to hit the pitching market too. As per the NL Vs. AL comment I'm not sure where you come up with that garbage but alls I have to say is at least in the NL, they may suck at it, but the pitchers aren't to pussy to bat :D

Strid are you still sore from the 18inning game playoff game last year where the stros beat the braves. ( note i was at the game and it was hella tight), or why do u hate the astros so much lol. whats to hate about em... theyre a lovable bunch of guys!

I like and respect Clemens and Biggio, as for the rest of em, dont like em. Division foe for the Pirates, so i cant really like them. Im pullin for the Mets/Angels/Tigers/NL wildcard winner so i got a 50/50 shot of being satisfied this year at least...

I think instead of asking why the Yanks are pouring so much money into buying their hired guns, you have to ask yourself why guys like the Red Sox spend so much less than they could in their team. Maybe if they threw some money their pitching staff's way they wouldn't have burned out and still be at the top. Problem is that the Red Sox fans care so much but the owners don't give a hobo's crap.

Not sore at all about that game. As far as I'm concerned that was one of the best baseball games I have ever watched even though the Braves got beat. they ended up beating themselves in the end from what I remember and that dissapointed me to the max but I was still rather pleased with the game. It was baseball played at its finest, imo. Like I said it has nothing to do with being sore it has to do with just flat out not liking the players or wanting to support the team. I have a lot of respect for Biggio but that's about it. Not sure why I dislike like the Astros so much, really I just hate the city all together, but I just never have been a fan and hell, I've been in Texas for a litle over ten years now.

oh.. well i guess that answers my question lol. you should watch some of the games and you might like em like me:D. i think the main reason i like the astros is cuz of bagwell and biggio:P, o and their tv broadcaster bill brown. hes the man lol. but yea thats cool lol i was just curious why u hated the stros. everyone has someone or something they just dont like and dont know why sometimes. I really dislike the whitesox.. mainly because i dont like their .... catcher.... a.j. perzenski... ugh. but yea i dislike that team for not a real justifiable reason>.< ... ... fer shizzle.
