People who want Thief-Last Blow kill need to kill themselves.

Sage Sundi himself (believe it was him... definitely an SE rep) stated in a public interview that the THF last-blow kill had zero effect on drops. Will try to find the link.
I don't think you get what i said - i don't approve it, but fuck, why not be superstitious from time to time? If not, let people be. Whenever i do BCNM's i usually wait for .30 or .00 on the dot ingame time to open my chest, just cause i feel like it. Will it affect drops? Probably not, but it's something i do cause i like being superstitious from time to time...
So people who are superstitious should kill them selves as well? What's wrong with a little superstition?
I for one really don't care for Thief Last blow kill, but if i have it and it's accessible, why not?
I'd rather not break a mirror than breaking one. Sue me.
I never said there was anything wrong with being superstitious. I have superstitions of my own, but when they're flat-out guaranteed disproven by facts (or in this case, developers) then there's precious little hope in following that belief.I don't think you get what i said - i don't approve it, but fuck, why not be superstitious from time to time? Dude, weak. I trusted you!Cmdrfly is superstitious too. He strips off all his armor and runs around the chest before he opens it.

I'm siding with the theory that each person currently in the vicinity in the party has their own personal drop chance, and Treasure Hunter simply increases that chance. It just seems the simplest way it happens, given SE's comments on the matter. As said, it's been answered - by those who made the game - that a Thief merely needs to be in the same area as the monster killed. I don't believe that entirely, I'm pretty sure they have to be within range to normally get Experience Points. But they do not have to do anything outside of simply being in the party/alliance.
I feel the same way. Seems like just adding more people to your party/alliance helps with some things.I'm siding with the theory that each person currently in the vicinity in the party has their own personal drop chance, and Treasure Hunter simply increases that chance. Sounds perfectly reasonable to me. At worst, it's just another superstition with the same end result, only far less inconvenient and silly. Besides, most of the time, the thief will be in range, probably fighting anyway.Yeah, everyone does have their own drop chance. I'm saying that for your chance to count, you need to be in range to normally get EXP from the mob.
So you'll still hack guilt-free because you just don't care? You know I love to bring up old arguments. Using windower macros is cheating. Be my guest but don't be a hypocrite and bitch about people that use fleetools, POS hacks and claim bots. Once there's a legal windowed mode, you all have 0 reason to legitimately use windower and I hope all you linkshells that have come out with a strong stance that cheating is wrong(when your rivals do it), will have the balls to tell your own members not to cheat.
