On topic, wow there is NO way to get out of this one lol...to be against botting and being pretty blatant about it and then going against YOUR words and botting yourself...is just plain stoooooooooooopid.
There is no "So?" in this issue, the main thing is if you're going to be adamant about it, then stick to your guns and don't bot. You friggin botted for a craft, don't even tell me your Ebisu is such an accomplishment now. Who knows how long you've actually been botting; it could have been since you started fishing. That my friend, is plainly a pathetic action.
This is a game, that much is true. You cheapened your craft, your so-called accomplishments just by doing it. Enjoy your undeserved rod and all your sense of "accomplishment."

I would think it was obvious. The kid has 1 75 and it's DNC which he just leveled to that like I dunno 3-4 months ago. His fishing skill was only the minimum required when he got his Ebisu which takes unbelievable amounts of effort/time or gil to make. I mean Tier 1 prize for Mog Bonanza was just 1 of the items for Ebisu, not even the whole thing. Far before he was lvl 75 or making good gil from fishing he was also constantly posting to purchase items on QCDNAH that should have been well out of his gil accomplishment range for his level of gameplay.

I don't mind his cheat-fishing and almost find it a service to the community, keeps the prices down if there is plenty of supply. Thats how coral fragments got so effing irritatingly high is the banning of fishbots, that price eventually gets passed on to your reraise hairpins and gorgets.

I however still find the kid annoying as all hell.

I believe pchan meant that getting clothcraft from 99 to 100 is insanely expensive and doesn't give you more money maker options, it's just an accomplishement. its liike fishing. you only need level ~60 and a Lu shang to make money, having lv 100 and an Ebisu won't make you do more money unless you fish some legendaries till fatigue (= you bot, cause it requires 10+h per RL day...).

Only idiots like Urat will spend gils to get an Ebisu for the illusion that they'll make more money. Ebisu is just a trophy. If you can't make money with your Shang you wont with Ebisu.

Now looking at how dumb Urat is, that's probably what he was doing. He found an Ass Hole fishing spot with insanely stong fish, where nobody ever goes ( davoi cascade), the perfect spot for him to fish bot legendaries with his new fishing rod, that cannot break now. Too bad for him it was this week's fish for the contest LOL. He could have been more clever and fish bot trumpet shells or cave cherax in king's fountain.

Intelligence does not equal being smart. They are two different things.

He might be smart, but he is obviously not very intelligent. Personally I'd say he's neither. I'd go as far as say both of them are attention seeking morons, as seen by the way they write.

I don't doubt he's a good player, never played with him, but you don't have to be smart or intelligent to be a good player.
