On original topic: I am a complete n00b I guess, but how does one "steal" from another? I mean, don't both parties have to confirm the transaction? It's not like you can place the item down somewhere and someone swipes them from you. I guess when dealing with items of high value, you have to be really careful. Maybe use a third party to do the trade through (someone you both can trust) or intead of "trading", use the bazaar, outside of the city walls.
On the "NA vs JP" subject: "All it takes is one bad apple, to ruin the bunch." Has anybody ever heard that one? Well, it goes both ways, unfortunately. Some people choose to remain close minded and see all that belong to a certain group as "bad". I have had run-ins with both really cool JP players as well as the asshole JP's. I also have had run-ins with NA players that are awesome people and others that should have been a cum-stain on the sheets instead of a human being. However, I do not hold that against ALL the others. Each person deserves a chance to make an impression.

they did a delivery box trade... vang claims to have sent but recieved nothing in return... our JP counterpart claims to have recieved nothing and made no such deal. it's a personal matter, some confusion somewhere, maybe he mispelled the name... who knows... not my business.

If he has really made sure countless times in tell, its obvious you won't use the delivery box (since its one of the most unreliable method I guess). Here is the thing that doesn't make sense to me: If Vang was just doing this to "trap" shil, what would be the purpose of sending /tells as both parties agree happened? Why not just come here and flame the guy? The other thing that doesn't add up is the reps. I mean Vang isn't exactly well liked, but it's often because he is brutily honest. Shil seems to have the rep of being a rather shady player.
