We are writing to you in reference to your recent order for Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning.

It has come to our attention that some websites are reporting that play.com have sent out the beta access codes. Unfortunately this is incorrect, however we are due to send out our beta access codes soon and we estimate that they should be with you within 7-10 days. The Warhammer Online beta has yet to start and we will be sending the codes shortly so that they will be there in time for access to the beta when it opens.

Hmm so I come back to QCDN a year later and my thread is still here hehe. So what exactly are all the FFXI players doing? Are you guys planning to go on one server to play together?

If it's not region locked then that would be an ace idea. If it is then i'm hoping the EU players will all get together :). Destruction or GTFO though.
 
I am wondering how many people from QCDN are either going to be in the Open Beta, or are already in the Closed Beta. If we have enough people I was thinking about setting up a guild as soon as Open Beta begins. If you're interested, please post in your reply in which time zone you are located.

but for reals, can't wait for this to come out :) WoW has been a blast but hasn't really absorbed me in like FFXI had for me when I first started. Maybe that is a good thing... lol


But yes, can not wait to play :)
 
Haven't really been paying attention to Warhammer since it got delayed, but I just pre-ordered my copy and waiting anxiously to try this one out. But is the minimum requirements for Warhammer have been released or am I just not searching good enough?

I don't think the Min Requirements are out yet.

Also, play.com are utter assholes, they apparently only sent the beta keys a few days ago rending that email they sent an utter load of bullshit >=(

Oh, lol that sucks.

I'll pre-ordered my CE online with Gamestop but I'll stop at my local gamestop tom. and ask them a few questions lol. Sucks, they didn't picked me for the Closed beta though. T_T
 
I've been signed up since the first day we could in Europe (for closed beta). Never been picked ; ;. Min requirements will be manageable by any recently new PC. They wont alienate a massive chunk of the gaming community by giving it retarded system spec requirements.

I guess. I just don't like playing at minimum spec and running around lagging whenever a lot of action starts. But my pc can play CoD4 smoothly so I'm not worrying alot. Maybe get an extra 1g stick of ram.
 
It all sounds pretty awesome, but I refuse to get my hopes up too high. If the open beta plays well, my guild will probably move to warhammer full time.

With a release date of 'sometime this fall' wouldn't the open beta be starting any time now? It's sounding to me like it probably won't come out till winter at this rate.

Well seeing as the open beta codes have been sent (yay) it should start very soon, like around August ish, maybe September before the full release as a means to stress test the servers.
 
The guild beta will be about a month long and all accounts i've read expect open beta to start very shortly after guild beta finishes, although that could change.
