Just finished up the Full Metal Panic! trilogy. Was loads of fun to watch. Currently tryin' to find somethin' similar in terms of comedy, romance, and fightin' (doesn't necessarily have to have fightin' or be action packed really) so if anyone has any suggestions, hit me with them. Started watchin' Desert Punk until I can find another good series and it's friggin' hilarious. I've seen a few episodes here and there but watchin' the series from scratch makes it fresh again. I don't think I've ever laughed so hard in my life at anything.

In that case I recommend Rosario + Vampire. It's a harem anime and currently consists of 2 seasons. Season 1 at 13 episodes and season 2 at 3 of 13 so far (I think). Its pretty funny and has some good action sequences.

I've already watched season 1 and I'm keepin' up with season 2. I'm lookin' more for a finished anime or one that already has a season or two finished. I've already got a lot on my plate as far as on-goin' anime is concerned. Thanks though.

was more of a life action of a manga but watched Great Teacher Onizuka the other day was a decent movie with good lessons.

I'm currently watching Cowboy Bebop. I have to catch up on anime. I have seen quite a bit of anime and not a lot of anime lol.

After Cowboy Bebop I'm gonna watch Azumanga Daioh and Fate/stay Night

oh and i watch Naruto Shippuden every week

lol Keep watching.

I will, but I just watched that suicide episode and was just... holy shit.

I figured they would touch on the theme of suicide though with maybe trying to connect to the core audience.

That show is hilarious. I watched it all in two nights, I just couldn't stop.

Hey Cua, When you're done with Welcome to the NHK, watch Footprints in the sand.

I'm halfway into Buso Renkin and wow.. lol, it's really a pretty good anime so far.

I totally L.O.L.'d at the little scene where Tokiko is bandaged up and looks like Shishio from RK. I read that this is from the creators of Rurouni Kenshin, but that scene was completely unexpected and made me laugh so hard.

Okay, I finished Welcome to the NHK, and the whole time all I wanted to do was slap Satou in the face multiple times. It was good, and I understand that they had to carry the show the way they did, teaching about the facts of life and showing how the people in your life move on, but the romantic in me was wanting to see a real romance between Miaski and Satou. I kept thinking next episode next episode, which I hate doing. Regardless, I figured the end would end the way it did, so I'm not disappointed, but still, I like to see what we won't see later on.

Bahh... I just wanted to see them together. I'll just pretend they are.

Wait wait wait wait. THERES A DUB!?

Yes. And the dubbing, is honestly, fairly average, nothing spectacular really. Though I have only compared the first 4 episodes of the sub and dub.

You'll be able to find it on RightStuf.

From what I saw I'd have to buy it and wait. I'm not big on the whole buying and waiting thing.

Finished BusoRenkin last night, I swear.. as amusing as Papillion was I hope to never see another character like him in an anime.. ever. I mean gawd damn.. how many male ass/crotch shots does the guy need? Dude's got a bag of holding +1 in his sack too apparently.

Jesus.. All in all though the anime was pretty great! Cool story and characters, definitely one I suggest to anyone. Well.. *thinks about Papillion* ... as long as you aren't homophobic you'll enjoy it.

Personally, the crotch shots aren't nearly as disturbing as strike witches ¬_¬

And I heard the DVDs added nipples in the bath scenes now... FUCK! THAT'S W R O N G !!!

I only watched one episode and it was terrible... It would've been better without the crotch shots... maybe.

lol

Should definitely watch more than one episode, and the first episode didn't have any crotch shots in it.. so.. oh wait, are you talking about Strike Witches or Buso Renkin?

Buso Renkin was pretty good, but then.. I thought you had already watched this?

Whoever took that over in America is rippin' you off. The show only ran for one season in Japan. However, that's not uncommon for over here. Our anime dealers like to rip us off, that's why most of us don't buy their DVD's.

Ah.. This is apparently Viz Media. Bastards.

Yeah, I don't buy my anime from those places. A friend of mine turned me on to a shop in Colorado that sells everything as it comes out in Japan and it all has English subtitles, no dubs, if you're into dubs. He charges by the disc, was around $9 a disc but the disc aren't a measly 4 episodes like here (The Bleach discs have 13 episodes each). The items are complete too, i.e. original packagin' with the stuff they came out with in Japan. I'm not sure how me manages this though. The owner has recently moved his site and it's not named like the old so when I find out the new site I'll let you know, if you're interested.
