What anime are you watching/reading?

Finished the second season of Tsubasa Chronicle tonight. Pretty good show, like the music alot. Maaya Sakamoto has a great voice so the two endings were good too. The one thing that bugged me throughout the show though was the stare downs and shit they always did. Where it cuts back and forth between sayoran and the baddie like 10 times. Its like OK I get it, one time was enough. Also I thought the ending could have been better, I was a little disappointed. I still have Tokyo revelations to watch though so thats good. Also I just noticed another OVA is coming out in March which sucks, because if I had known that I would have put off watching it till then but oh well.

Overall it was a good 52 episodes with some good action and some hilarious shit at some times, Episode 11 during season 2 had me rolling. Worth the watch for sure, just wish the ending had been a little better for the second season, but atleast there is still more to watch. Would have been more disappointed had the been the end of everything period.
 
watching again eureka 7 at the moment but im looking to find another anime just like death notes or something pretty much like this any ideas lol tell i get them just names i dont need links i dont undertand english so well so i dont want to hear them in english i get all umm ehhh mmm. japaneseeeeeeeee for god s............ :D and the only manga i really read all the way was saint seiya.

If you're lookin' for somethin' like Eureka 7 I'd strongly suggest X'amd: Lost Memories. It's an anime made by the same studio, Bones, and tackles he same issues. It's really good. It's only for download on the PSN network but a lot of streamin' sites keep with it up to date. The spoken language is Japanese so you don't have to worry about atrocious English dubs.

Neon Genesis Evangelion >_> seriously watch the 1st 2 eps of Eva then the1st 2 of Eureka, there like the same anime except ones a love story with an actual ending XD

But E7 didn't suck.

y'all just aren't fucked up enough to like Eva. But seriously if you can't see the parallels between E7 and Eva you didn't watch them. Whenever someone asks me about E7 I call it Eva with a love story and a real ending.

Watch the 1st 2 episodes of Eva then the 1st 2 of E7, Its pretty much the exact same story. Then compare the psyche of Shinji and Renton and Rei and Eureka.
 
I'd rather die than watch that show again, it's awful. Not once while I watched Eureka 7, which was recently, did I think, "Ooooh NGE like." Too each their own, I guess.

I can handle a "fucked up" show but it has to be good at least, like Welcome to the NHK!
 
Whenever I say NGE sucks people always come back with "But everything every good mecha out now is based off it and draws origins from it!!" and all I can think of is "who fucking cares it still sucked". The whole time I watched NGE I was disappointed. I had heard how awesome it was and blah blah and to me it just sucked. I however on the other hand loved E7. I also enjoyed RahXephon which apparently is suppose to be like NGE too. Either way I still think NGE blew.
 
Man, RahXephon, I couldn't stomach past episode 4. That really was just, "WOOOSH" to me.

Hmm, I actually loved NGE.. up until the end, then it pissed me off with it's shitty ending. It had incredible potential and it was a really good anime.. up until the end, the final few episodes.. those just sucked, hard. Quantity and quality went to complete utter crap. *sigh*
 
Yeah. I guess the show wasn't bad, all though Shinjis pansy ass did bug me through out the show. That and then throwing on that shitty ending just made me hate it.

On another note I just finished up Tsubasa Tokyo Revelations and it was pretty damn good. I'm pissed though because like I said before I would have waited had I known they were coming our with another Ova. According to Wiki the manga should end before 2009 and the other ovas are getting released with the 26th volume, so hopefully we don't have to wait to long for them to get released because I want to finish up the story. I'll have to watch the xxxholic series before then too so all the stories make sense. In fact I might start that up tomorrow.

Edit: Shit on anidb it says the ovas will come out next march... what a mother fucker.
 
Started TTGL tonight and its win. Only watched the first 2 eps so far but its fucking good.

Alot of still framed animation with only the mouth moving.

It's quite annoying to watch.
