I love pld, honestly.. the hate control is amazing. If I am exping Sam? Don't even think to put a Nin "tank" beside me. His pitiful lill blades are gonna whir at the back of the mob I end up tanking. give me a big meaty pld!

On Rdm? I want Nin. People say "youre lazy, you dont wanna refresh!" meh, when you get a nin you haste it.. 40mp vs 40mp derrrrrr...... I prefer speed, 0 downtime, and enjoying exping.

Put me with a bard? Pld onry!! Rdm + Bard = no downtime, lots of fun, and serious exp.

MNK and RNG are the only job that should give NIN a problem, and btw they are the only jobs that give PLD problems.

I XPd with JBs SAM and had no prob holding hate, even with his spamming of WSs.

If mob turns, it is because voke is ready again so one macro and it is back to me. Any NIN that can't hold hate from a SAM should go PLD so he can voke flash his way to 75.

why arn't warriors ever represented in any of these polls? we tank well... and most of the people who leave them out of the options to tank are the people w ho complain that theres not enough tanks, Switch my gear from pure attack(with the -evasion and low defense it is pretty bad) to still attack gear just with more +agi and +def without losing too much attack or acc. warrior can tank perfectly fine.

Wrong, NINs are now DDs that can tank.

Edit: BTW my NIN is 55 and PLD is 60, so I think I have enough experience with both jobs. I like them both, but prefer NIN over PLD. Both have their qualities, but as 55 NIN I can do so many more things than I could as my 60 PLD.

MNK drops off in tankability. It's still possible. It takes a lot of work. Load up on the Counter+, cap your guardskill(lolgoodluck,) and grab yourself some Melee gaiters.

Thats not the point. WAR with tanking gear has their situational spotlight too. As well as MNK, should there ever be a HNM Coeurl, MNK will be the absolute best job to throw at it and tank.

People have used PLD/NIN on Tiamat. WAR/NIN with Koenig gear would be superior.
