First of all, if you believe in any story about 9/11, it's a conspiracy theory. We just don't have all of the information we need to come to a completely factual conclusion. Watch the documentary in my sig. I promise it's nothing like Loose Change. It has no theory in it. It's pure factual information from nothing more than mainstream media sources and interviews with family members of 9/11 victims.
I never said Pearl Harbor was allowed to happen. I was merely presenting evidence of it's possibility. I was and still am agnostic about that. As far as other government conspiracys, many of them have been proven to be true. I'll name a few.
We have the declassified document "Operation Northwoods". You can learn more about it at ABC news:
ABC News said:
N E W Y O R K, May 1, 2001 In the early 1960s, America's top military leaders reportedly drafted plans to kill innocent people and commit acts of terrorism in U.S. cities to create public support for a war against Cuba.
Code named Operation Northwoods, the plans reportedly included the possible assassination of Cuban émigrés, sinking boats of Cuban refugees on the high seas, hijacking planes, blowing up a U.S. ship, and even orchestrating violent terrorism in U.S. cities.

Along with that we have the Iran-Contra affair. Here's information on that in my faavorite documentary.

Or you can look at some info on a PBS article:
PBS said:
In 1985, while Iran and Iraq were at war, Iran made a secret request to buy weapons from the United States. McFarlane sought Reagan's approval, in spite of the embargo against selling arms to Iran. McFarlane explained that the sale of arms would not only improve U.S. relations with Iran, but might in turn lead to improved relations with Lebanon, increasing U.S. influence in the troubled Middle East. Reagan was driven by a different obsession. He had become frustrated at his inability to secure the release of the seven American hostages being held by Iranian terrorists in Lebanon. As president, Reagan felt that "he had the duty to bring those Americans home," and he convinced himself that he was not negotiating with terrorists. While shipping arms to Iran violated the embargo, dealing with terrorists violated Reagan's campaign promise never to do so. Reagan had always been admired for his honesty.

Next we have the Panama deception. There was a academy award winning documentary on this which had the biggest impact on getting the truth out about it. You can watch that documentary
HERE.
We have the Watergate scandal. I'm sure you know all about that one so I won't waste my time on links and quotes.
We now have the proof of constant lies about 9/11 and the war in Iraq. They lied about not having any previous knowledge of 9/11. They lied about the air being safe to breath after the collapse of the WTC towers and now thousands are dying and some already dead because of that lie. Thankfully, it's all over the news at the moment so people know the truth.. finally.
They lied about the WMDs and other weaponry in Iraq. It's also all over the news but you can see more proof about that in a nice documentary:
Uncovered: The Whole Truth About The Iraq War

In this documentary, tons of professionals go into detail about they lies the government told us about the weapons in Iraq.
We also know that there was no connection between Saddam and 9/11. It's all over the media and it was even on the Daily Show:

There's many proven government conspiracys out there. You are willingly ignorant. Just Operation Northwoods alone proves that the government isn't only capable of false-flag terror attacks in their own country but the possibility that some people in the government are actually willing to carry it out. It's far beyond the scope of insanity to think of it's possibility when you see these real conspiracys.
The government is suppose to be there to protect and serve the people. Not the other way around. If you don't question the government, who will? And if no one questions the government then who's there to stop them if they try to commit more very large conspiracys? I just simply want to convince people to do the research and realise that it's always a possibility and to always demand answers to questions so we know the full truth about what happens. Questioning the government is far beyond crazy or unpatriotic but quite the opposite.
All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to ... remain silent. - Thomas Jefferson
A patriot must always be ready to defend his
country against his government.
- Edward Abbey (1927-1989)
.. bah! I had quite a few other great quotes but can't seem to find them at the moment. Oh well. My point is made.
