I heard higher INT improves your chance of picking and succeeding loot from treasure chests.
it does - i can attest to this after a few failed picks and then stacking on a few pieces of INT+ gear.
That's a coincidence, not a proof that it does...there's a lot of things that happen coincidentally in this game.

To hell with all of you, I'm a great WHM/NIN in Beseiged! :dur:
Besieged doesn't bug me much. I just hate when I'm getting owned by mnks in Campaign and there's 3-4 RDMs, a couple WHMs and a couple PLDs there not doing a single thing but auto-attacking.

Well, the problem with this is the way they designed Campaign. It is much easier to get exp through attacking then it is through healing. People's attitude when they go to Campaign is to get as much exp as possible, not stand there keeping people alive so that you actually win Campaign.I hate that, too. If a WHM in Campaign has their club out their having too much fun pretending to be a WAR :fapfap: than realizing that they can toss out a cure or a raise. But, this isn't a complaint thread.

Look at exp parties. You don't do something you know will negatively affect your exp gain.
Its more a flaw in design then anything. If SE increased the exp cap/exp gain for healing in Campaign for mages, and decreased the exp cap/exp gain for meleeing for WHM's, you'd see more people actually doing their job. That's why they added those healer NPC's. To keep people alive, and to raise dead people, as SE intentionally designed Raise to give a minimum amount of exp so that mages could focus on doing other things.
