1.) The 20GB PS3 will not have Memory Stick, SD, or Compact Flash inputs; there won't be WiFi capabilities. Everything will be upgradeable via USB.

3.) Both versions have one Ethernet port and four USB ports.
4.) Also, the controller has been redesigned to look like the current DualShock PS2 controller. However, the rumble feature has been removed and now has a motion sensor feature similar to the Nintendo Wii controller.
5.) Pre-orders (at EB Games and Gamestop) have been announced to be delayed until September 2006 because Sony asked them to wait until final shipment numbers are posted.
6.) Heavenly Sword and two other launch titles previously announced for launch have been delayed until 2007. 15 titles at launch still supported by Sony.
7.) $600 PS3 to have chrome lining

Things you may need to know.
This was reported by IGN: Gamers who own older HD sets that feature only 480i, 480p, and 1080i resolution input capabilities will have to settle for the display quality being downsized as the game boots in its 480p mode rather than upscaling the image from its more desirable 720p mode to the TV's 1080i. IGN tested this development on older HDTV sets with games designed for 720p but not 1080i -- Resistance: Fall of Man, NHL 2K7, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07, and Need for Speed Carbon. Sure enough, the system downshifted all four titles to 480p rather than moving up to 1080i. This issue came up with either a digital HD video connection (using an HDMI cord) and an analog HD video connection (using component cables.) ... It is not known yet if this is purely a software issue or a deeper technical problem and whether or not this lack of upscaling might be resolved on launch PS3 systems in future updates of the hardware via downloadable firmware patches.

Additionally, for those who wonder why its $600:
Lets Say we start the PS3 at $399 with XBOX 360 Specs
Add 40 GBs of Hard Drive (equivalent to adding $200 on to xbox 360 price
because 20 GB 360 hard drives cost $100 a piece)
Add Built In WiFi (equivalent to adding $100 on to Xbox 360 Price)
Add Extra USB Ports and Card Reader Ports (add about $30 onto 360 Price)
Add Blu Ray Player (about an $800 upgrade but we will place it at $200 because
thats what microsoft is charging for their HD-DVD Add-on.)
Add HDMI Port (add about $100 to 360 Price)
Add Online Service for 1 year (around $59.99)
Subtract Headset (shipped with 360) equals maybe $30
Subtract Remote (shipped with 360) equaly maybe $20
I dont even have to mention the superior hardware and games of PS3
This breakdown runs about $1,000 to equip a current Xbox 360 with PS3 launch functionality. Therefore, you can see just how much of a better deal the PS3 is. It's still expensive, but you are getting a GREAT deal.
Edit: (by David Han), the PS3 comes with a Remote and a Blu-Ray movie.
