Why did you pick your name? And wth does it mean?

Used to play alotta FPS games and one day after a match i hear, "u know that 'everclear guy' (previous name) every time i turned a corner he was right there and shot me in the head... It was like fu*king Dejavu every round."

Ever since that i changed all my account names to Dejavu and fly pretty much exclusively under that name now.

Also its just kinda fun to say >.>
 
Hehe one of these threads comes up every few months.

My last name is Swisher, and when I was in the fifth grade, people in my class just started calling me Swishiee. When I asked how I was supposed to spell it (since they came up with the name), they told me it had to be -iee at the end. Even though irl people don't call me Swishiee or Swish much anymore, I still use it online for practically everything.

Kyrial is an RPing character I used to use. Kyrial is her formal name though, and hates being called that; she (and I, the player) prefer Kyrie. I tried to name her Kyrie, but the name was taken when I started. ; ; When I made my first mule, it wasn't taken anymore, but it was too late by then. Since then, someone else took it, too. ;/ Some people think I took Kyrie from the Kingdom Hearts character, Kairi, but I made Kyrie up long before Kingdom Hearts came out. They are pronounced the same, though (and Kyrial is pronounced the same, but with 'all' at the end).

Jurinrin, my Windurstian Taru mule, came from the random name generator. I thought it was cute, and it fits her.

Kyriesslave, my Bastokan Mithra mule... well, yeah, I think you can guess. XD

Meredith, my San d'Orian Hume mule... I always thought Meredith was a really pretty name. It's funny, shortly after I made her, I started seeing someone named Meridith around, and occasionally people will send my mule /tells, thinking it's Meridith. XD

Bigbigtruck, my Windurstian (Jeunoan?) Galka mule, gets his name from a fanfic author that wrote a hilarious Cowboy Bebop fanfic.

Uliwela is a hawaiian name I made up. Choose my charecter first then named it by its hair color. Uliuli is ocean blue and wela means hot, so I guess I was going for burningblue or Hotblue idk XD.

Lol, yeah, he's one cute Tarutaru. It's Inunabe and his name actually means Dog Stew in Japanese. The name is from the Anime. Him and I are buddies :P

Anyways, as for my name, you can probably expect it to be from the Chrono series and Final Fantasy series combined. I suppose I kinda got it from that since I love both series. Yet I've used this name as my nick name online and in games since 2001-2002, ever since I created a story based on this name.

My Chrono Fantasy is a story series, I've written a few stories on it so far and have it planned out for 7 more at least. 150-200 pages each typed out on my computer, with various different multiple choices and chaotic events and deep ideas within.

Chrono Fantasy itself is actually a Universe that is contained in a much larger Mega Universe known as Ultima Utopia. For those who were in my LS that had been around for 7-8 months, my LS was called UltimaUtopia. Ultima Utopia contains 20 Universes within, yet Chrono Fantasy takes up the vast majority of this Mega Universe.

I had plans to make a story for each Universe too and had info and such on each Universe. It was actually quite fun working on all these ideas, and I drew out maps and everything and starter out introductions for each Universe's story. I was thinking of editting and putting a lot more work into the CF stories and selling it out public one day and maybe start a new phenomenon... Yet that I still have to get around too.

It's pretty neat though, they travel through time and different Worlds, I guess you can say almost like the Chrono series, yet this is still different from the FF and Chrono series combined.

There's a main character in my stories, his name is Chrono and he in fact is a man cursed to be a small black cat based on his Villains. Chrono is the God of the Universe Chrono Fantasy, and he has lost his 7 sons and is out on a quest to look for them and build together his family to fight his enemies for good to get rid of the curse and restablish the Universe to a peaceful state.

Well I blabbed too much about that.. :P For those who read it, that's where I get my name from.

Edit: Just read something about someone's mules somewhere. Most of my Mule's names are from my story too. Like Explodus, who is the God of Ultima Utopia, and my Galka Mule named Sculton who is the enemy of the God Chrono in Chrono Fantasy. My friend in the game name is Maita, and Maita is the Goddess of Chrono Fantasy, yet she died due to the curse, so Chrono is trying to restore her back to life too.

Well... when I started playing, I originally planned on going NIN, and since I, for some reason, like seeing ninjas wearing white... So, I merged a couple of japanese kanji I know: Haku (white) and Kage (shadow)

Of course, it took me so long to reach 30 and longer still to unlock NIN, that my NIN is still level 1, and I'm not sure it'll go higher anytime soon. Guess I'll just have to stay WHM. :wink:

I should have thought of it, but most people, on first meeting, seem to think of the Naruto anime, since there's a Haku character there, and practically a [something]kage for everything... :wacko: It's become one of the fastest ways to peeve me, suggesting I took my name from Naruto. :banned:
 
Nyx in Greek Mythology = goddess of night. I'm not sure why the ie got added but it was added sometime ago when I played Delta Force :cool:
 
Graydaze - My first char, when it was on Chasym's acct, was named Greydaze... which is the name of the band Chester Bennington from Linkin Park was in first. And LP was how I met Chas and whatnot so I kinda wanted to relate it in a way to that. I changed the first letter cuz when I got my own account, I sent all the items from Greydaze to Graydaze.

Sukami - something Chas came up with and sounded like it would fit in with my love anime and japanese culture

Keikyo - a character from Inuyasha, except its spelled Kikyo. Inu Yasha is another connection between Chas and I. I usually would have used the name Kagome because I based a character for an online RPG off of her, but I knew there were a lot of people who had various spellings of that name. Since Kagome was the reincarnation of Kikyo, it still fit... in a way. lol

To be blunt... Friend who used to be on the server told me WHMs were low in numbers on Quetz.. so I started off as a WHM. I chose a name I've used before for a character like my current one.. and according to what I've been told, my name fits well with how I perform my job. :biggrin: At least, with how I do as my WHM.
 
Well.. Shaunessy is my name. Atraiu is from the never ending story, Schalac is my FPS name so I made him a Galkan WAR soon to be DRK, seems fitting. Spharai is the baddest relic in the game so I made a hume MNK after that weapon, Claustrum has the WS Gate of Tartarus so I made a taru BLM with that name. Owoked was a mt from Naejeillib in our old old old LS when she ment to type worked, and I told her I was going to make a mule named that and I did. Ohishi was a badass samurai so he is an elvaan WAR atm that will be a SAM eventually, Krys is ...... my crystal mule that is currently full with all stacks of assorted crystals. Finally I have Packhorse. He is an exact duplicate of Shaunessy and is my crafting supply mule. He is also still equipped with the Organized Confusion LS pearl, funny that Zandaris quit well over 2 years ago yet this pearl is still not broken. I also had Thommerrlin as a mule but I moved all the gear off of him and deleted the toon, yet I haven't deleted the content ID yet. So anyone play Tetra Master? I have a content ID purchased, and I thinking about triing that out. Well now you know all the ways I can annoy you in game. Oh yeah and I have a Mithra THF on Hades named Owoked also. Owoked....such a great mt....

Edit....I forgot about Izo. If you have ever seen the movie Izo, then you know where I'm going to go with this toon. Yeah Izo, errr......IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
