Wow..

That byne screencap /has/ to be setup. Part of me refuses to accept that someone would not only carry around seventy 100coins, but that they would make the huge mistake of selling at least two stacks of them somehow.

If the poster had the gil to buy them all, which he did, he would have pounced on them all, not stopped at sixty.

Just... no. I won't accept that level of carelessness and thoughtlessness in this game.

...that said, I once bought a gluttony sword for all of my gil because I didn't expect to win the auction. That's what happens when you try to win at AH.

You've got a few things wrong. Where do you see that he had 2 stacks of them? And where do you see that the person didn't buy all of them. He only had 60 100 coins. If he also had a bunch of singles with him, I'm not all too surprised that he could have priced the singles as 100s and vice versa.

I just thought it was odd that the buyer made one purchase and then five minutes later bought ten more. If he had the gil, why not buy them all? Why wait? It looks like a clean post without things being cut out of it, so what's the gap?

That said, I don't know anyone upgrading relic who would keep their bills on them. Those things go in a mog locker or something to save room, since no one finishes relic quickly.

It just strikes me as really fishy.

Wow Sneaky. lol

Stack of 60, then buys a stack of 10 a short while later. I also was sceptic of a set up as seeing that making a delay like that for an odviously huge benefit is in itself, i huge mistake.

Afterall, sending out a screeny like that would odviously make people go "WTF!" and would be quite the nice practical joke. Very similar to how no one thought LEERROOOOOOOOOY was a set up.

So ya, 70 not 60 tyrath :D

The huge gap could be like /tells or something. How I look at it is he thought it was One Byne Bills too and wanted to buy 60 of them. Then realized what it was and went to buy the rest. That or he was so shocked when he looked that he bought 60 to check then went and bought the rest when he knew what it was. Or something D:. I can believe it though, people fuck up on prices all the time.

Tyrath is right, it was mentioned later in the thread. The singles were priced as 100s and the 100s as singles.

Even if it were a setup, the screen shot obviously takes place in Jeuno. Would you setup a bazaar with those prices? I mean, even in the Tenshodo, further away from most loitering...That's a huge risk.

My problem is with the screenshot itself. Its clean, with the border intact. There are no tells filtered, because we see the purchase, the ls chatter and tells in the same screenie. We can see that its not just a cropped shot of the log because we see a blotted out name bar. We see the whole page, as it was on his screen.

I don't buy it, no pun intended.

And to think I got all /wrist when I paid 22.5k for a single 2.25k quiver of arrows...
