Also yes I have fought wyrms and have been hit by the breath attack.

Standing in the wrong place while fighting fafhogg doesn't count. and besides, fafhogg isn't even a REAL wyrm.

I think you also said something about 3 enmity being less important than 15 enfeebling skill (Af1 is +15 right?), which is just silly. Enmity >>>> anything else, especially a stat that doesn't really effect the big fights.

(I don't post often, but the sheer amount of wrong information is just getting out of hand here. I had to say something, even if it had to be said a bit late.)

If you think -3 enmity is more important then 15 enfeebling skill for RDM you just might need better tanks.

Well I know when I'm tanking the rdms all wear full errant, I'm so freaking awful, lol.

For serious though, maybe that part is just a matter of opinion, cause the rdms I've talked to don't seem to think that it's worth it to go all out +enfeeble.

If you're not having trouble landing the enfeebles then Errant is better than AF1 (or Crimson) because it increases potency AND has -enm...

I partly agree and partly dissagree.

Yes, Fafnir and Nidhogg are fairly weak when it comes to resist rates, so Errant is better. But for things that resist more often, AF is better.

As for Enmity > all... I dissagree. I don't use enmity that much on anything since I rarely pull hate.

RDM:
-enmity > enfeebling skill?

please delete now kthnx.. or better yet, delete your linkshells tanks.

-10% breath damage? are you seriously even TALKING about that??? haaaaaaaaa

I made a half informed post, I apologize.
There you go being dumb again ham, sorry guys our rdms don't actually use errant much for most HNMs except for stunning and when ham tanks, ham really fails at tanking but when we're bored it's mildly entertaining.

considering I've seen Black Mages have about the same luck landing enfeebles and working at about the same potency and NIN's enfeebles overriding a RDM's and other crap like that.. it makes me sad to even care to work on enfeebles (though it is maxed out merit-wise...) stupid SE... stupid stupid SE...

Potency is based on raw stats, so a BLM will have the same potency as RDM. Accuracy is another matter though, and while anyone can land an enfeeble, there is a noticable difference in success rate on mobs that have ~20-80% success rates. On these mobs, higher Enfeebling Skill wins...

yep what he said. Like I said -3 enm is really not going help that much.

hey while it not a issue it is a +. If you serious going to bring up -3 enm -10 breath attack is imisible to. Anyway though this entire thread people been saying

I don’t quite understand this mentality of only using items when you need them. It is not about relying on the Refresh effect; it’s about being at the top of your game.
now you have to amit that the crimson body is a + over the errant body? Just as the kirin odose is a + to brds over the errant body. crimson scale mail is rdm kirin odose. It actually better in some cases. I never said the dalmatica is worthless for example it come in handy in a case like assult. Though crimson scale mail is A great body to use over what ever a rdm is using for enf/nuke(on low resist mobs). Even more so for someone that has access to Altruistic Cape and/or Nashira Seraweels. You brought up mdb on dalmatica. Which im sure 10int/mind is about the same or near same in def bonus. Also note that the Crimson Scale Mail has the highest def of any body a rdm can wear. It dont mean much in caster mode but it is food for thought for it solo aspects.

GTFO...

You do realize Baja is a cat and I'm a dhalmel. And unlike some RDMs, I enfeeb in the proper max setups for the appropriate stat...

As Elem said this is just SE stupid luck system in action.
