Most people who post threads like the latest loldunes flame are just trying to show "oh look how awesome I am and look at all these noobs"... its nothing more ... and these are irrelevent topics. Oh yea, you found a noob, congrats :crazy:

NOBODY CARES IF YOU'RE HAVING FUN OR NOT.

If you had a crappy player in your party who disbanded after getting a lvl with no warning, or who always link pulled. I'd want a flame about it so I could avoid being killed by that person or wasting my time.

If soloing past it means I never have to meet anyone like the one rdm in the last dunes party I ever attended, I'll gladly solo every single job past dunes.

Yes, I completely believe that my opinion is far more important than yours, or anyone else's for that matter. Well, that is if I am considered part of this "QCDN Elite" you continue to blab on about. I always talk to others as if they are far, far below me on the hierarchy of this website, or life for that matter. I am on a plateau, and everybody else is worthless to me. Fuck it, not only do dunes flames suck, but all flames suck. So does Good Times. In fact, every thread on this site sucks. I plan on moving the two or three other "elite" members with me to a new secret site where we can talk about how annoying the rest of the members of this site are. All topics on my new site will be approved, and will come with fans and lemonade already attached, so we no longer have to rely on you.










Yeah, I can use sarcasm too.

That is kind of just blatantly grouping everything. I do agree on the idea about the dunes/shitty players threads because they are pretty useless.

ZoMg I pted wit da stupedist guy 2dayz in da dunez <~That shit is over played and retarded. Where as, purely for example, the thread on Necrosis stealing shit from a shell. Say it wasn't Necrosis since he has undoubtedly already been labeled as such, but someone who came over from let's say Hades. Then that would been a valued flame because it is very unlikely a large part of the community would have known about him. So for starting a flame like that, even if there are like 100 of those flames. People wouldn't get pissed because it is doing what the flameboard is here for, sharing experience of negative players who really should be watched other than random assholes in the dunes.

Basically what I'm saying is that flames about assholes stealing from shell flames, good. Random shit about some asshole you met in the dunes or some noob area, baaaad.
 
But that whole "People who steal from shells" are a form of "Just a heads up", which is clearly outlined as wrong thing to post.

Yeah that's true, but then there are some people who do it correctly, lets use Rappa's flames for example since they well put together, who make flames like I said in my last post, without the whole "just a heads up."

But that's just my two cents

You can label yourself however you like. Your belief is that since you don't want to read dunes flames, people shouldn't be allowed to post them. That means you do think you're above the rest of us. You can read your original post and see for yourself. I think in game you're cool, and most of the time on the forums your cool. I think you're taking the stance of an asshole in this particular thread, but I don't hold it against you. I hold the same oppinion of everyone I categorize in the "forum elite" stereotype I created. I'll call you all friends in the game, and in General Discussion and anywhere else, but I think in threads like these, you're all assholes. That's my position and I'm sticking with it.

The reason Dunes flames shouldn't exist is because it's the Dunes...you know, the first zone people generally form full parties in. Many people are new to the game and/or have little-to-no experience with their job. Flaming someone for sucking when they might be totally new to the game is in fact not only a waste of time, but intentionally or not, INCREDIBLY elitist. It is more times than not someone flaming someone else for being new at the game.

It's a very early part of the game, yeah some people are gonna suck at stuff. There's really no reason to be bickering about it though; anyone who's complaining about some guy with only a few hours under their belt sucking at their job is really just whining for the sake of whining. I know I, for one, didn't join the game and go "Oh, I know exactly what skill/MB I want to do when I join a party!"

Really though, Dunes flames are just cruel and pointless. Everyone was new at the game at some point, and acting like people will learn everything in the game before L20 is asinine. The only time Dunes should even be involved in a FB post is if it involves someone MPKing with an AF NM or perhaps something involving VE. Anything else is almost always just proverbially kicking sand on the little guy.
