Fucking assholes... When you invite somebody to an XP party, then drag then thru sky for 2 hours, don't change your fucking mind and camp Ulli instead.

If you want to camp something, use your own fucking shell, don't lure people out with XP, then change your mind when you get there. I don't give a fuck if you "thought the camp was empty." Go somewhere else. Assholes.

Willian, how about we go EXP in South Gustaberg. I think there's a camp open near where Leaping Lizzy spawns.
 
Where to start? Willian, you are a liar. Good enough place and I'll even explain why.

This is how it went. Party gets started in jeuno and Willian gets invited. Party leader asks in his sky ls, does anyone want to head to Ulli camp for a little exp and possible Ulli ToD. Enough people say {Yes, please.} that the party fills up fast.

Immediately, realizing that there is enough people to take Ulli, the party leader in /tell to Willian that the party wants to go after Ulli too. And that he'd understand if he wanted to go find another party.

So, what would you do? Willian says he doesn't care and goes along with the party anyway.

They get to Ulli and there is a JP linkshell up there killing everything. If this was a normal party or one with people that didn't speak japanese, they might leave to find somewhere else to exp. But this is a party almost exclusively made of a sky linkshell and Ulli is important. So, the party goes about getting ToDs and one of the members starts talking to the other ls about letting the party have the mobs for exp. (FYI: The ls let the party take all other mobs than the PHs after a brief time of everything getting claimed. Takes a while for people that are used to claiming everything to stop. =P)

So what does Willian do? "If you guys are going to exp here, I got another party invite. I'll leave." Is this a threat? Weren't you warned in jeuno? Why yes, you were.

Dead silence from the party and suddenly they start looking for a replacement from the ls. I got the invite as I was already in sky having logged there the night before after god fights. So, I head up to replace the guy that was too impatient to wait for things to settle down for the exp party to get rolling.

I don't know if you thought the party was going to bow to your whims or not. I do know as soon as I got there and they told you you could leave for that other party, your final comment was "Never fucking invite me again." and you immediately came here to flame.

How childish considering you lied in the flame. You act the innocent when you were told ahead of time. Tsk. Tsk. Tsk.

PS: 20 minutes after you left, we were getting chain 5s. The ls even handled a few links for us and they left an hour later. 2 merits & Autumnstone {Thank you.}
 
Elyssa, everything you said relies on the PT leader actually saying to him in tell what you said he did, but you have no means of actually prooving it both to yourself, or anyone else.

You can call Willian a liar, but Zanshin has more of a reason to tell the PT a lie than Willian would have to come here and lie to everyone here. It's not like he would gain anything from it. Ask yourself which is more probable:

-Willian decides he is gonna make Zanshin look bad and waste a bunch of time and some money getting all the way into sky only to say he was misinformed and leave.

-Zanshin doesn't want to look like an ass to the rest of his skyLS and tells everyone that he told Willian ahead of time.
 
It just boggles my mind why an ls pick random people (ppl seeking for exp) to do ulli. By the sound of it, it couldve been an exp pt at ulli site. There could have even been a chance these guys dont even know what Ulli is.
 
Actually Bigboy, I got to see the entire party from not one, but 3 screens including the party leader. I know a good portion of the linkshell in real life and got to see all party & most /tells with my own eyes.

But, as we all play on ps2, there is no actual way for me to screen shot without a camera. (I miss computer & windower. I had an huge mistell library on my old one. T-T)

And yes. One of the party members did check sky before leaving. That alliance wasn't even in the shrine before the party left jeuno.
 
I can vouche for Willian in saying that he rarely gets pissed off, let alone make crap up. Unless you have any significant proof, it's just your word against his, and the story is in his favor at the moment.

Hell, he was talking to me on AIM when he got the party invititation, and I told him it might work out. No offense, but if a party invited me to go out somewhere and I'm expecting to get EXP, no, I don't want to kill/camp some NM unless it's in the way of getting more EXP. He has more than efficient means of making his own money on his own time - why would he agree to camp an NM with five seemingly random people (you can tell just by my signature that I don't have a job much higher than 60, so I'm not quite in the know of all H/NMs, so I'm assuming this would just be a money-gaining opportunity for him)?

How is anyone else supposed to know if you really saw the chat in /tells? You can't even prove that right now, let alone come up with any valid evidence that might prove Willian's story false. It's nice and all that you're trying to defend your linkshell mate, but it's probably better just to leave the talking to him and then possibly you could defend him further. I don't defend everyone in my linkshell for good reason (I'm not naming anyone), but I know good and well that Willian wouldn't just make something like this up. Perhaps there was some miscommunication between the party leader and Willian through /tells (someone zoned and it didn't quite go all the way through or something - that does happen), but it's a bit silly to expect Willian to actually be willing to participate in such an activity when it's more than likely that he was LFG to get EXP.

What are you so fussy over either way? He was under the impression that the camp was empty, so maybe, just maybe he was given the impression that you would be going there to get experience points. You didn't give him a definite answer, so you shouldn't even have expected him to give you a definite response. He went up there to EXP, your party decided to camp an NM instead, and Willian's only intention was to get EXP. I don't know about you, but if I was in that position, I'd just leave and find a party doing what I want to do. Just as Flameass said:

Maybe that isn't the most mature response, but I agree with it 100%.

Here, I'll change the situation a bit for you. You're Rank 5, and some linkshell is forming a level 57 party. There's five of them already, and all six of you happen to be on 5-1. You really don't give a rat's ass about your rank right now, you just want to level up so you can use your next piece of AF. The group invites you to party, and they tell you of some camp in Fei'Yin (I suppose you could fight weapons). You get there expecting to EXP, and they tell you that they know the camp isn't taken, but if it were, they'd do 5-1. You agree to go with them, and when they get there... suprise suprise - someone else is camping the weapons. Now, I know in this example that 5-1 is 50-capped, so it doesn't work out exactly the same, but I know I'd be rather pissed of some group took me to to EXP and then wanted to do a mission instead. Suppose they just told you to go in with whatever =<50-gear you have on (gimping yourself, I suppose)... the situation just now becomes exactly the same. If they don't like you leaving, oh fucking well. Tough luck, cry me a river, etc etc
 
For one, I did not have another party invite. What I said was "I was invited to XP, not to camp for your shell."

As we left town, I was told that we would XP, and if Ulli poppped, they wanted the drop, and would pay me. Whatever, that's fine with me, I wasn't even going to ask for gil, since I had a friend or two in the shell.

The initial /tell was something along the lines of "Do you want an XP party?" not "Hay lets waste your time to further our shell because we don't have the people to do it ourself."

My initial complaint was "Are we going to XP or camp this NM? I was invited to an XP party..." As of this point, I was just bitching, I hadn't threatened to leave at all. All of the sudden, I was replaced, so I didn't get a shot at those chain 5s you were getting. As far as I was told, you were camping Ulli, not XPing at all. My closing statement was "Okay, then I am leaving. Don't bother inviting me in the future." If you are going to quote me, try to do it right.

I don't like being called a liar. From what I see here, you are putting words in my mouth.
 
Considering that I am both quite familiar with Willian as well as a member of Zanshin, I think I would probably hold a unique perspective on this situation. In my time playing with Willian since NA release, he has never once lied to me or done anything in the least bit dishonest related to this game of which I am aware.

From my personal experiences with Zanshin since I have joined, it wouldn't surprise me if some things were left unclear in the process of inviting people. Zanshin would also certianly stand to benefit from lying in this situation a lot more than Willian would. Elyssa, considering you weren't even there at the forming of the party, your information is most likely based on the word of Odhinn, Madddogg, and whoever else was involved. Either way, I think you calling Willian a liar is a comment with no ground on which to stand. I'm quite disgusted with Zanshin generally and Elyssa in particular after reading this post. If you don't have a plausible defense for yourself, don't reply to flameposts about you.

What does that say? When I asked them to explain themselves ingame, the only response I recieved was Odhinn telling me it was Madddogg's fault. Today, after seeing that I posted a response, Elyssa took it upon herself to kick me from the shell. So Zanshin, and Odhinn you botting sonofabitch(like thats something we all don't already know), you can all go fuck yourselves! with sharp pointy objects!

Yeah, I have no proof. You can either believe me, or not, that's up to you. Seems both sides play on PS2 <_<

I can still bitch, though, that's the point of this board, isn't it?
