blm

Here's the pic I've been working on. It was supposed to be done for Miya's b-day, but that didn't happen  . Better late than never I guess. (size has been nerfed;)

I had this thought last night as I couldn't sleep "blm can do 18 BLM DM, MNK can do 18 MNK DM, why not RDM?" After this thought I thought of how it might be done. So far I'd see the need of atleast 4 RDM/NIN (with Ni so 74-75) probably a RDM/WAR (need a way to keep that taru settled fast in...

Hey, Im sure this has been covered before, but I spent some time figuring this out, so I thought I may as well post it and save others the trouble. I think its the easiest way to determine how gear will affect your hard numbers nuking, barring resists. ( (INT/2) + (MAB) )*75% = % increase in...

So our party decides to go out to Ulegerand Range to exp. Our blm/whm, Kariri, was the only one in the party none of us had partied with before. On the way, the blm catches aggro. No horribly big deal since the way sucks anyway and is trolled by true sight mobs. The thing is, our pld came...

Ok, I have followed as many sources as I possibly can reguarding the latest and greatest BLM information. So far I have heard many cries of "omg we're getting gimped". Now I'm intending this post to gather information and to announce my frustraition over "gimping" issues. Things I have...

So I picked up sorcerers ring (+10 magic attack bonus while yellow HP) and i'm trying to find an easy way to macro in a gear switch to drop me in yellow for using it, rather than say, overnuking to get into yellow. ATM I can only think of using hp->mp gear on a macro or two in and out to...

So i'm not exactly new at BLM but today in bibiki I had a nin who REQUIRED that I stun for his utsusemi ichi timer, and on damnation dives because he was getting hit. So not ever having played nin, and only handled it as a whm (haste the nin, cure him if he gets hit), and as a summoner...

Hi there. I'm a blm, and a taru. I've been eyeing the sorcerer's ring (Magic attack bonus of +10 if your health is at 75% or lower). However, I wouldn't want the party to get anxious or worried that I'd die. How would you feel if you had a taru with this ring and 75% health in your pt?

Soon, we'll most likely have a chance to separate the real blms from the imposters. Along with the announcement of Puppeteer, the latest news is a yet nonspecific nerf to Blm. Will our numbers plummet like ranger before us? One can only hope. Also, Warriors are getting throwing axes apparently...

Hey I got a quick question if I should use INT+ rings or two astrals. I just got back to FFXI and I got the astrals as a gift when I was a lvl 30 pld, and when the rings weren't a rip off. I'm an Elvaan blm and I lack MP.

69 BLM here and was wonder on what gloves togo w/, iv seen about 1/2 blm's go w/ Af hands (+ 15 elemental magic skill) best stat, and the othr 1/2 blms go with the Marine M gloves lvl 64 i thnk,(MP+35, INT MND +4) best stats. just wonder wich to go w/. i know some are all about INT and some...

If BLM were to get nerfed as "bad" as RNG did, would you still play it? If the job was 'adjusted' to be played more strategically instead of just throwing a bunch of Thundaga III at everything, and the big juicy numbers weren't so easy to obtain, would it still be fun? As far as I know, there...

Ill knew it was going to be bad when I saw the mentor flag next to his name. Another "I know everything, stfu, dont tell me how to play my job!" waiting to happen. But lets give it a shot and see how it goes.. As to be expected, horrific. Level 50-51 party in Kuftal on my Sam, and after a...

Alright... here is my dilema. I promised myself that I would not continue leveling until I had 3 items. Moldavite Earring, Af Pants, and Shaman's Cloak. I got my Moldy the other night and my coffer key tonight. Before I go and camp Shaman's and drag people out to help me... is it worth it...

So I have a few questions and ideas about this battle. Maat has the same stats that I have right? So if I lowered my MND as much as possible wouldn't that make his magic resistances weaker? Possibly if I put on equip that made me weak to Ice then cast freeze on him, put on equip that made me...

ok i recently hit 13 on my BLM.. and its been rather easy so far.. but i do realize it'll get harder very shortly.. because im the type of person to like to be just on the verge of taking hate from the tank.. i'll nuke till if i cast 1 more thing i'll probably take hate from the tank.. so...

Hello!^^;; Im am a lvl 30Blm/15Smn, currently on lakshmi, Im soon getting a world pass for Que. What are your opinions on Blm??? Do you think they are usfull in Partie's? Or are they just for nuking?

All blackmage dynamis shell, would you join? Its been proven to work. yada yada yada.

So I'm walking through Port Jeuno and get an invite to party from a guy named Cyruss. Cyruss tells me his party is awesome and is made up of high levels. He then asks me can I MB for over 800dmg.....I say I can with Freeze. He replies in a friendly way and asks if I want an invite. Going against...
