I'll make the feaux pas hat trick post...If I were 17 again, and the biggest concern of mine was once again how to shave more time off my 300m hurdles, I would have no trouble expanding the shell into the new dynamis zones. But this is my limit right now. I haven't touched the CC auctionlist in two months.

I already dumped so much crap on dave already because it was overwhelming me, but he's more than welcome to take on the new zones if he wishes. Zyl can. Cher can. So long as I know that they'll always be with the main force and not turn it against the main force, it's fine. But it just can't be done by me.

You know this gets really old. All these people talkin shit about how Pere acts on his dynamis runs. I dont get it, your not in the shell, you can say any random person told you this blah blah. Truth is, Pere is a good leader, I havent had a run in with him yet, and i dont like many ppl in this game. Im very confused at who would say he is a prick during runs, because thats completely opposite of how he acts. Nobody is holding a gun to my head to reply here, I dont know pere at all besides dynamis runs, and Qcdn, and i promise you they arent the same dude.. If pere was a prick to someone they probably deserved it, probably wasnt doing what they were told ( he is the leader). I cant wait til we do our Bea run, and beat beau. Im not gonna lie,i really hope he throws it in all your faces. Its a good shell with good people. Bol is.. um.. yea... so I know your all jealous of the success of the shell, but do you all have to act so childish? Meh, who cares, Pere keep it up man, you have an awesome shell going. Dont let the haters bring u down for nothing(which i know you wont do). Peace

I'll grant you that Dynamis is tougher with new players if you'll grant me that Dynamis (especially the 4 cities) is much easier with 50+. You've said in previous posts OHEX (or whatever) beat Windy with about 20 people. Also remember that the new zones also drop the 71-73 Relic pieces just the same as the 4 cities do. The only things you'd be losing are the huge groups (just split into 2 full 36s) and the feeling of security you and your shell have knowing you've done these pulls a thousand times before. Especially considering your familiarity with the zones and the way you portray yourself as a leader, I don't think (aside from someone who simply doesn't listen to reason, who shouldn't be in Dynamis or any kind of endgame activity) winning with the force you have should be a given, every time. If it isn't, that's a problem. With whom I'm not sure.

Most are still on Mea? That's awful. Over 15 months this expansion's been out and there are people out there that can't be bothered to get Lufaise access at the very least? If nothing else, you're screwing yourself out of a quite good XP/merit camp off the Abraxas and Rams. Not to mention the rewards from the Diabolos fight - the avatar aside, your mages would love his Pole and Earring,

As an outsider, running the 4 cities constantly seems stagnant. Maybe asking your shell to advance in the PMs would be thought of as being too elitist or 'affected' or whatever. I just think that if your members are as good as you say they are, taking out San d'Oria for the tenth time when you could be tackling Qufim and Buburimu simultaneously seems like wasted potential.

If you're a good shell, beating Beaucedine should be a given, not something you parade in front of everyone. I'm actually very suprised you haven't attempted it yet. I'd save the boasting for your group's first Shadow Mantle.

A lot of you out there didnt think Pere would even make it this far, im sure none of you expect us to beat beau. And shadow mantle.. thats a long ways away.. nobody even mentioned DL..

Well, it's been 11 months since I started dynamis.. and I only really one 1 city af, a friend passed for me for the 2nd af, and I still need my boots.

af2 doesn't come by easy for everyone, which is one reason to keep going, also new stuff does happen, the one day a pull messes up and we get a massive link, the one day someone was resting during a suicide pull, when a billion random mobs come out of nowhere, it's pretty fun =P (for me at least >.>)

We made it a goal for post new years while we finished getting access for a few more members. You'd know that if you were part of our shell. But lookie, you're not D:

Or if I were a member of any Dynamis or endgame shell, but lookie, I'm not!

Then should you really be responding if this doesn't even apply to you >.>;?

We have a good reason for not attempting glacier yet, we're trying to leave as little people behind as possilbe (with open membership, impossible to leave no one behind). We're trying to get the wins for some of our newer members, we currently have a good enough force to go for a serious attempt at glacier, but we've prolonged it due to new members and all the holiday stuff too.

He's actualling having a civil discussion and trying to push your LS forward. From what I've read he's been really trying to advise you guys.

No need to get smart with him. A better response would have been:

Thanks Cubs, I get what you're saying. We've got a few good goals as to the new dynamis zones. Get some members more access. Things should be rolling along nicely after the new year.

But, Thats just my opinion.

And I think Dave here just summed up every reason why I haven't considered Dynamis. Running the same thing for months/years without getting substantial tangible results (and no, I don't consider Beaucedine access results) and entertainment mostly due to people being stupid and not following directions?

As much as I want AF2 hands and head that's not a reason to subject myself to all that.

Dynamis is easier with 50+. The act. Not the beast. Dynamis with 64 has its own problems. 30 is much much MUCH easier to control even if it is more susceptable to wiping and large pulls. 57 is hard to govern because of its size, but it is pretty much immune to whatever I or zyl can pull at it. Zyl linked the ENTIRE auction house in Jeuno the other day. Don't ask me how. I don't know how, but it all came. All I did was send out a man up and don't whine call, and the team took it. It was probably 30 on 55, and we beat it without more than three deaths. That would have wiped OHex's 24 no matter how good they were.

Ohex beat windy with 24. We beat it with 27. We beat it with 40-someting. We beat it with 50-something. I prefer 45-55 myself. Winning every time isn't a given though. Crap happens. Summoners sneak in astral flows out of nowhere.

I don't ask anything from my team but to get level 65 and take a trip into xarcabard. We'll do the rest.

As an outsider, I know you wonder why we're not in beau yet. We have about 55 people with beau access so far. That's our decision, not yours. When I take the team to beau for the first time, it will not be this piddly bs force of 20-30, leaving half the shell at home without access. It will be the full invictus shell, and we're getting to the end of that zone in the first try. You have no idea how hard it is to get such a large team a simple access prerequisite. It's what we've been going for for months now. It's not that we're losing. Do the numbers. How long does it take to get your full team full beau access, starting with NO wins for 60 of them? Don't say 4 weeks. That's with 70 gunners with no lives. It takes forever, but once you have it that's it. Beau is as good as dead, as is xarcabard.

If the first three pieces drop in the new zones, how does that get my team beau access and xarca access? Do they count? That's what we need right now. Beau access. We have 55. I want 75.

Dave would have full af if ohex didn't die. That is all but a fact. As dynamis shells age, you start winning relic by default regardless of luck. It's just that not many NA shells make it that long. I aim to. Not me personally, but I intend the shell to stay that long and that dedicated.

I pwned that AH ^^ I wish I would've had screenies.

I'm more going on what some of your members have said (Robly, I think? Maybe Fubio as well) about how the main reason they do Dynamis is for Relic armor. There's a lot of jobs out there that could care less about the armor available in Beau and Xarc. Maybe they'll stay to help your shell. That's noble and commendable. So is your shell running the same instances over and over to get everyone to Beaucedine. I'm sure you, Zylia, and the other shell Thieves are salivating at the thought of the Xarc THF drop.

If your shell's main goal is to clear the Northlands, you're definately on the right track. If it's to get people their Relic goodies, the 3 new zones are going to accomplish that faster. Either way, it's successful so far. I'm not taking anything away from you or your shell. Good luck in the Northlands whenever you attempt them.

Sometimes I just want to intentionally link sandy and beat it down instead of trying to metal gear our way around it. I think we could take that entire gate guard with each nm.

Dude, you can't be a dynamis shell and not want a shot at the Dynamis lord. That's stupid. You'd be nothing but a farm team. An alternative godshell.

Which I think, long-term, might be a wrinkle in your shell. You've likely got people in your shell who have all the Relic they want/need for themselves and are only hanging around now to get a shot at DL. After they get their Interloper title, what then? Both the storyline incentive and the gear incentives are gone.

That's one of the biggest problems in-game regardless of what you're doing, but when it comes to that sort of thing God/HNM shells seem to hold members better due to there be so much more to do and expect for someone to get an Osode/Ridill/etc. When all you do is Dynamis, people are going to drop out once the sense of accomplishment is gone. Then you need to spend another month or so running new members through the cities and Beaucedine treadmill, and either leave them behind for Xarcabard farming or keep the other 50+ members out of the Northlands for the 5 that can't go.

Maybe once Xarc is cleared, that'd be the best time to consider the new zones. Keeps people interested and looking for that piece of gear/tattered relic to upgrade.

Sure, when xarc is cleared and we're a fully veteran team that has seen and done it all in the old dynamis, there is no reason to mindlessly farm the whole thing without ever expanding. We can split the team. If we shrink to 36 post-xarca, even better. We can just take the team. That's what a lot of vet jp shells have done after finishing old dynamis. Their shells got whittled down to smaller numbers than ours eventually. Maybe it'll happen to us. I can't force people to stay once they get xarca drop. I can only expect it and expect to lose some and keep some.
