2009 E3 thread

It may sound silly.. But this little racing game just stole the show. Forget an MMO.

This racing game looks like Mario Kart Mod...
 
I need to go find Ico and Shadow of the Colossus and play em completely

I thought that too!! I think everyone thought that in the audience. Was a good surprise tho. The main character in the video just reminded me of the standard short black haired character in FFXI. I just KNEW it was going to pop up with online at the end. Love how they made no indication to it right till the very end. I just laughed when I saw it!

Female on the left has pointy ears, possibly Elvaan. Pretty sure that's a Galka on the right after seeing a close up of its face.
But still could well be something different.

The world is called Eorzea....close lol.

Just a thought:
I am hoping this new MMO will be attached to Playonline, and that we'll only have to pay the charge of an extra content ID to play. <3

Considering the set up for the sec. ID, I would think so.
 
boo GT5.. I hate racing games that are serious racing.. that LBP racing was cute/funny/awesome :P

Doubt it. PlayOnline maybe, but the cost of a new content ID? I highly doubt it.

GoW3 looks good but i think i let hype get my expectations too high.

EDIT: I guess Sony had the most memorable conference. It was not the omg panty dropper the media hyped me for but it was fine. Overall the conferences still just were not stunning as a whole.. But this was a hell of a lot better then last year.

Nice wrap to the Sony Conference. Now with the press hitting the show floor, I'll be sitting hunched over at the keyboard looking for news on some games.
Dear god Capcom, if you have any love for us you'll have Monster Hunter 3 on the show floor.
 
Sony has alot to offer this year and a few to look forward to, I really wish Wii would do something that makes me not want to sell mine off.
