Besieged Sucked ass!!

And your dumb ass just let mobs break into a city when you could have stopped it from happening.

You failed, chickenwuss. You picked 50 piddlepoints over making sense.

Skaw, you've seen one attack. You don't know shit. All you know is that you want points, so you'll do anything to ensure that you're guaranteed points, no matter how stupid it sounds.

"Let the badguys breach the city!!!!"
What the FUCK kind of battlecry is that, idiot? Do you HONESTLY think the dev team designed it so that they reward that idiot?
riddle me this, whats the point of adding an event that gets no reward? would people do dynamis if there was no reward.

Are you that damn dense? When you fail to stop them from advancing, they BREACH the city and you fight in the city. That's why they're in the god damn field marching toward the city. Not to annoy you. To be killed.
Or you know, it could just be for realism, rather than the mobs magically popping up at the city walls. Why don't you get a shred of proof rather than just bullshit you're making up as you go along? Seriously, there is nothing to support your "theory," it's all just conjecture on your part.

Why the fuck do you not read? Are you really an 8 year old? I already said I was at work, shithead.

Oh baj, you're right. Realism is letting an invading army into the city!!

Seriously, you all are wastes of organics.

I couldn't read the whole flame because it was retarded, but I think it's funny that Peregrine thinks that tightening the defenses of a city is an impractical and cowardly tactic to stop an advancing army. Apparently he hasn't taken any history classes, or possibly gone to school since 3rd grade. Your entire argument fails because you are saying it's better to stop them outside. Who are you to make tactical decisions that effect the course of nations that oh-oh-oh you aren't even a citizen of? You want to role-play this out to what makes the most sense? Then follow the fucking orders of your superiors, which aside from the NPCs is all of the people on this thread.

Peace, Quetz. I won't be back to this thread.

The people in this thread are self-serving fools who can't see beyond their own noses. Letting a city get breached is the most ridiculous battle plan I've ever heard of. Only a group of MMO failures would come up with something so idiotic. Oh wait. They just did.

hmmm...everyone in this thread vs what pere says...hmm. i wonder who is right

Yeah, because there's never been an army invading a city before, let alone anything like that ever happening in XI. Oh wait, the openning movie.

Actually, the battlecry was "Kill 'em all!" followed by "Where are they?"

Peregrine, you're right from a tactical standpoint tht it would be best to stop and advancing army before it reaches the city. The point you fail to see is that nobody gives a fuck about how it's "supposed to be." The idea of seeing a city invaded by monsters is something we've been drooling over for years. I would've rolled out a red carpet for the trolls if I'd had one on me.

It's not like these invasions aren't going to happen repeatedly for the next few years. The advantages/disadvantages and all that stuff will be drained of life until it's as humdrum as anything else. For now, it was a very exciting event that very quickly fizzled out.

You can gloat all you want about gimp players who somehow failed your lofty ideal of how the battle should be won. Most of them would've gladly stabbed you through the eye if it meant the monsters got into Al Zahbi so we could kill them there instead of in the field... you know... the fun way.

I am. Lol you idiots are never right. 40k dynamis coins much?
There are inherent developmental balances in this expansion that you idiots are throwing out of whack by failing to stop small hordes before they enter a town. Guarantee it.

Peregrine, your a dumbass, just stop now... you obviously dont get the point of this objective. Are orders are to defend the walls of the nation, not to run out into the woods and Assault them, for all you kno the battle could do sooo much more inside than we realize, but since there's 150 people waiting inside for them we wont get to experience it for a while, for all we kno the monsters could run around and torch shop stands, and break down walls, and do this and do that... but we wont kno until we find out, and this is why we are waiting inside the city, because were not a fucking retard and think that we should stop an entirely new form of conflict that SE designed for a reason. SE made besieged for a reason, if they wanted us to run out and stop an army from invading, they would of said that on the damn website, but your to fucking dense to open up your mind and think about it... Just quit now ur losing this battle, just like ur gonna lose when you try and stop the army from coming.

they didnt fail at stopping them BEFORE they got there. they DIDNT WANT TO. it would have defeated the whole purpose of the content to kill them before they got there. why dont you get that?

Oh and also if you look under besiege the monsters will take NPC's from the damn city... that kinda makes it more fun! Especially if they stole the npc that sold the caccoon, do you have any idea how many people would rush over to get the damn thing back. Use ur brain for once.

Castles had internal perks that didn't warrant soldiers leaving thier stations out to the field to defend thier kingdom. Al Zhabi is structured the same way. It has a battlement, Arrow loops, drawbirdges, and a moat. Game mechanics don't allow for Murder holes, though. Many Kings in the past had willing let the enemy advance in to thier territory. It kept thier own men safe, while putting thier enemies at an increased risk. If you honestly think that letting thier defenses get breached is ridiculeous, the course of history would've differed greatly.

Just because they enter the zone doesn't mean they've entered the city. The beastmen first have to make it through these primary defenses. If only it had Murder holes, that'd be sweet.

Excellent point, I forgot that they could steal NPC's as well. EVERYTHING takes place in the city. The mobs steal the mirrors, the mobs steal the npc's, why shouldn't the fighting take place there too?

Exactly what are these developmental balances, o great one? Experiencing Content? If you choose not to experience it, that's your own personal choice, others do. Do you have Lufaise access? Probably not, judging by your attitude. It's a wonder you've even succeeded accomplishing Rank 6 to do your oh-so-wonderful Dynamis.

Because you're not even on my ****ing tier of thought. You just sent the message to the balancing mechanics of the expansion that you gimps can't stop 15 mobs from entering a city when given the option. Why on earth would the system throw more at you then?

You didn't want to because you're a point-getting idiot with no vision. This besieged should have never happened. You should fight the field until they finally breach during an attack. You should fight the breach until they take the stone during an attack. You should get the crystal back immediately. I guarantee you that that will inherently set balance indicators off that makes this current besieged look like bubbly bernie. What do you idiots want? 15 mobs forever? You just told the balancers that you can't stop 15 from entering.

Let's see...willingly let beastmen capture hostages. THAT'S THE BRAINPOWER OF QCDN

wrong...the mobs entering the city is the way they intended it to be done. not killing before they got in you tard. its not going to interrupt mechanics if you allow all mobs to enter since thats what se wanted
