Jesus Christ, fucking shut up already. Quit proving your ignorance on the subject and encase yourself in old content, you fall-behind.
From the website that skaw posted:Peregrine said:This is something you forum retards will never understand. Hordes are incoming. They aim to attack a settlement. They told you. You saw them. You watch them. There they come. And you idiots wait until they get to town because "that's when beseiged starts lolz."
Bunch of imbred idiots. That doesn't even make any sense. You kill their asses. Beseiged shouldn't start until you fail to kill them outside. You have NO idea what benefits there are for killing them before they get to town.
It only makes sense that attempting to PREVENT besieged is superior to just sitting back on your ASSES and letting them break into town. But I guess that only makes sense to non-dumbfucks looking for the quick stats and points.
If this was a truely open game, you'd be 100% right. It would be better to stop them before they got to the city. However, SE has specifically said that they have to breach the city walls for besieged to occur, and having been at the first besieged and seen what happened when they reached the city, killing outside does nothing. The goal of Besieged is to defend the Imperial capital when the beastmen breach its defenses in search of the Astral Candescence, and to recover the treasure from one of the beastman strongholds in the event it is taken.
Peregrine said:Again, you're an idiot. Square's really going to reward you gimps for failing to send a herd of 30 mobs packing. 400 damn people and you idiots let them breach the gate.
GG.

All of the information released by SE says the mobs have to get into the city, that's why the event is called besieged. If they never get to the city to lay siege to it, then the name makes zero sense at all.Peregrine said:Again, think. You have no idea how preventing beseiged from happening will affect the quality of later besieged events. None.
Preventing besieged makes developmental sense. IT IS ALLOWED. You could have easily done it and you failed to. You let a town's defenses break on ****ing purpose. When, in the history of RPG maing, have you EVER been REWARDED for that in the long run?
That besieged should have never happened. Never. In the long run you have ZERO idea what the implications PLAYING LIKE YOU ****ING MAKE SENSE does.
except for now and every other timePeregrine said:I read. You fail. You're ignorant, skaw. You don't know the mechanics yet. All you know is that "besieged doesn't happen unless they breach." But that's all you know, idiot.
Tell you what, let me give you a hint:
"THIS beseiged doesn't happen if you thwart it. THIS besieged happens if you don't."
See what I did there?
Here's what probably is going to happen. Mechanics detect that you idiots couldn't prevent a simple besieged from happening, so it never bothers to rev it up.
Try playing like you're not a point-getter for once. Don't let them into town. Guarantee it'll pay off in the long run, and let's face it. When you idiots are the ones making the claims that coins will go back down to 5k a piece, I'm never wrong.
You want to test theories, fine, test them. But you don't test them on the first occurance of an event with HUNDREDS of people waiting for it to happen. If people had tried attacking outside the city in a month, no one would care, but they were doing it specifically to piss off the people who were waiting in the city for the event to start proper. Stop glorifying the people who tried to dick others out of content.Peregrine said:I read. You fail. You're ignorant, skaw. You don't know the mechanics yet. Peregrine said:Lol the second I get out there, your piddle beseiged's are over. Fact. For your own good, thank me later. They will not bust into town without a fight.
Peregrine said:The others aren't point-getting fools like you forum-spammers trying to be first NA with content. Again, you failed to stop an easy attack from breaching a damn city. What part of success is that?
I had no idea i'd get any points out of besieged until the mobs were advancing, I just wanted to try the event out. Stop acting like people who actually want to do things other than dynamis are somehow "defective" when they want to experience the full game; not just do one event and think of themselves as gods.Peregrine said:The others aren't point-getting fools like you forum-spammers trying to be first NA with content.
