that's a pretty big error

even if rare lol. I hope they can fix it soon.
Well, how it come about is also something interesting. In fact, if I had say at Gearbox it would be last on my list to look into because of this. Someone made a "How to dup items" thread and it wasn't deleted for a good two or three days. So that gave time for some conversation to flow. In that time a lot of people tried duping and got ownd by loosing everything they had, even skill points. So it's pretty much a save glitch that came up while people tried to dup items. Reason why I caution people is because you never really know the true catalyst for these things so better to be safe than sorry. For all I know it could have been a well timed chance.

Well finished the game via joining in on a friend for the last few missions. Don't know if I'll play it again. The game is interesting but I guess i don't really like loot whore games. I prefer having an "ultimate" equipment set that requires a lot of effort, but you can do it and have the best, as opposed to this weird setup where you're constantly switching your gear out every hour or less even. It's not really my thing, but I can understand for a lot of people it's heaven.
Seeing as I'm not a Diablo fan, at all, I can understand that. You don't seem to be much of a shooter fan either so that goes double. I will say this though, if you replaced items that often you got extremely lucky. In playthrough one I scrubbed it, using what I could because I could. Playthrough two, while not that much more difficult solo or with one more (just seems mobs got a major health boost up to 2 players), is requiring a little more effort out of me to find better stuff as I level up to keep from burning so many bullets. When you hit 50 the entire game rebalanced again and so does the loot. I can't imagine people having ALL the best items for their character yet. Most of these people with a bank full of oranges get them from solo chest runs in a town or dungeon without killing mobs. I highly doubt the best loot in the game can be found that way, hence why no orange class mods, shields, and grenade mods have been found out of all the people who do let their finds known on the net. It also seems that level 50 with 3-4 players can just get down right mean (watched a live stream level 50 Nine Toes run, it got nasty, real nasty), which I'm lookin' forward to but if you're no difficulty/loot whore I'd agree the game just isn't for you. It's probably not worth much more than a rental if you're not a loot grinder or big shooter fan.
Hell, I personally find roaming each normal zone, from Fyrestone to the Commons, killing and looting chest to be a blast. Maybe I'm just simple minded, but this game took hold on me, hard, and wont let go. Having not liked Diablo it surprises me but having played as many bad/sub-par games that I have on these new systems, something like this is a blessing.

im still heavily questing, about to hit 30 and still am not the least bit bored with it! The game is just too much fun and i love having tons of places to find items.
as for fire saying switching guns happens to often, early on it did, but once i hit around 20 i didnt find many better weapons till many levels later, hell i used to elephant gun for almost 10 levels and it still raped in damage, i just recently upgraded everything and found my first alien gun.
I friggin' loved my Whitey's Elephant Gun. My partners hated it, but I fuckin' found so much joy out of a scope-less sniper. It's just pure beast as a quick scope weapon. I really hope to find another type of rifle like it down the road. The one I got on my second playthrough was purple and had almost 1000 damage on it, I hit the roof.
I've read that after the re-balance of the game at 50 and after you complete the second playthrough all of the bosses then have a chance to drop their quest reward loot and in higher tiers. An orange Whitey's would seriously make my day.
