I'll grant it's "better" for building TP, since it provides an increase to your chance to zanshin; but stop acting like it makes zanshin a 100% proc and gives 100% accuracy(it's just another swing, you can still miss). It's "better" in that it's a negligable boost to your TP gain rate, but that's also why it's not worth bothering with, the effect just isn't big enough to bother with. It's better, but the difference between your TP gain and a sam without it would be so small that it's not worth bothering; but the damage difference between you and the other sam would be more noticable.Shaunessy said:Overall damage in an exp party setting is pointless to even achieve. You have to think in terms of mobs, not hours. The damage provided by 1 Zanshin is going to out damage the total of the amenet on a single mob. Just because you do a few extra damage to this mob doesn't mean that it effects the next one. How hard is that to understand? Bushido Cape will help you get 100 TP faster than Amenet and I don't care what anyone says, that is where the damage and hate control of SAM/THF comes from. Now how about instead of all you people assuming that it sucks without tring it, use it then answer the OP.
People want to kill the monsters faster, so hitting harder on every hit will have a much greater effect on that than getting an extra attack in every 10-15 monsters. If you're getting more zanshins, that means that you're either very lucky with proc's and therefore the gear doesn't matter or your accuracy sucks so you have more opportunity for zanshin to proc, which means you suck. With the damage bonus from Amemet, you might kill the mob in 1 less hit.
