Concerning Adminminship (i think I made that word up)

I'm a bit confused though. If Reeve is indeed qualified to operate the code on this site, then why hasn't he relegated some of his responsibilities to mods? Wouldn't it make sense to do so? I'm sure he can handle it with his super amazing powers of not letting qcdn forums crash.

VBulletin moderator control panel does not allow moderators to mess with forum code nor templates. Unless his control panel is tweaked quite a bit from the defaults.

And I doubt he'd give admin access to any of the super-genius-know-it-all kiddies on this forum who know exactly how Reeve should be administrating the forums even though they've never ever moderated/administrated a vbulletin forum of their own even once.

Would you, if you were in his shoes? I wouldn't. Most of the badasses on this forum probably couldn't webmaster worth shit if they were given a chance.

We have default ModPanel with the rep module added, nothing more.
 
I find it funny how people can bitch about the administrators on the forums when they've had no previous involvement besides "hi reeve i love u".

And no matter how much you cry for democracy, there's still a mod only board where the higher ups are free to name names, and single people out.

Meh, you guys bitch too much. This is a really hard community to satisfy and I think no matter what you did it would never be good enough. QCDN is pretty rad right now, with the sheer volume of users/posts going through this site everyday it runs fantastic. The only time I can of that it ran better was the very beginning...and there was what? Maybe 100 users. I think the rating system is a little useless (I do love how we've kind of made it a huge joke though) but seriously - you guys have real short term memories if you can't remember how this place used to be, that or you're on some mind altering drug that makes you think this place has been peachy keen for the last couple of years. There are days when I think this community could make Richard Simmons cry, and he's a pretty happy guy! (rhyme 4tw!)

It's okay to bring up suggestions but stop acting like the board is in utter shambles and nobody is doing anything about it, because it's clearly not the case.
