Yeah...I've had issues with my long hair before. When I was 17 I tried for almost a year to get a job and no one would hire me, everyone told me(friends, family, etc.) it was because my hair was too long. Finally I gave in and cut it. Got a job within a month. Fucking bullshit.
And yes, everything about that article is bullshit. That pissed me off just reading it.
This is the shit that pisses me off.. the kid sounds like an upstanding student who's hard working and stuff.. I hate the shallowness that still plagues today :| QUALIFIED people not getting jobs or getting punished for such stupid shallow reasons.
its a sign of professionalness. i used to have long hair if your not in a metal band you shouldn't have long hair. fucking hippies. though i do agreee schools shouldnt have a say in it though. they make stupid rules, like when i was in Highschool you couldnt have a long belt tail because it represented the size of your penis apparently. ugh
Her arms were basically one big tattoo from shoulder to wrist,
its a sign of professionalness. i used to have long hair if your not in a metal band you shouldn't have long hair. fucking hippies.
That would be called a "sleeve" lol, just so you know.
I've had a Senior School send over 200 students home for not having a blazer in my home country. At my old High School you could get sent home for having an unnatural hair colour. This is nothing.
KHS Student Handbook page 38 said:DRESS AND GROOMING
In establishing standards of dress, it is not the intention of the district to regulate fashion or determine current fashion trends. The dress code is established to enhance the quality of the Kerens student body by encouraging the development of good grooming habits. Long hair was never an issue when is was in high school. The one majoy clothing item that was not allowed in school were white tank tops which students called "wife beaters" lol...
Suck my salty balls jackass.
Hahaha, yeah it was a fucking ball explaining to my gym teacher what a wife beater was and why I was wearing it.
